Chapter Eight
Seokjin slightly bowed at the owner of the coffee shop he's working in, he is assigned at the counter taking orders.
Now, he needs to pass the job to his co-workers since the owner told him that there is someone who would like to talk to him for a minute.
He walked towards the table that his boss told him to go- he rolled his eyes when he saw Taehyung sitting on thr corner.
Of course, it should be someone as important as Kim Taehyung for the owner of the coffee shop to just let him talk to someone and abandoned his job.
He let out a faint smile and took a seat across of his friend. He leaned his back against the chair hissing as he felt how his lower back is aching.
"What are you doing here?" Seokjin asked.
Taehyung is still offering him about what they've talked about after the exhibit. Of course, for someone who badly wants to pursue studying- that offer is really tempting.
"Im not going to let you throw your dreams just like that."
Seokjin bit his lower lips. He shut his eyes closed tired of explaining himself and Jungkook's situation to everybody.
Eversince he told Jimin about him paying the rent for Jungkook's exhibit, all of them called him telling him that he shouldnt go to that extent.
They just cant understand it. Yes, he wants to achieve all of his dreams but he wants it to be with the man that he loves so much.
They are going to chase his dream. It's just that Jungkook needs to go first and everything will be fine. That's what they both believed in.
"I am not throwing it away, Tae. I am going to achieve. It's just that," He let out a tight-lipped smile, "It will just get delayed."
Taehyung rolled his eyes at his friend. No, it doesnt have to be like that. If he badly wants to pay for the rent then he can but Seokjin needs to let him pay for his tuition fee.
"You have to study, Seokjin. I am going to pay for it." Taehyung encouragingly said.
Seokjin washed his face with both of his barehands before letting out an exasperated sigh.
"Tae, it's fine, really fine. I have to stop anyway with money or not." He shrugged his shoulders.

He has two jobs and is doing a lot of thing to help Jungkook out but he still manages to get high grades an indication how much he wants to finish his studies.
Taehyung was about to ask him about it but he already stood up.
"I have to go now. Take care on your way out." He said before walking away from his friend.
Taehyung let out a deep sigh as he stared at Seokjin's back slowly walking away from him.
He walked outside of the shop and immediately went inside his car driving away to meet someone.
As he went outside and is already infront of the door. He could feel his heart beating faster out of pure irritation itching to burst out in anger.
He knocked for a couple of times and heard someone grumbling from the inside and soon after the door was opened- revealing his cousin who's holding a pallete and has a paint in his arms and even a little on his face.
"Why are you here?" Jungkook asked.
He turned his back against his cousin walking inside the kitchen to put the pallete there and washed his hands.
He is not mad at Taehyung. It's just that they are not really close to be talking and visiting each other. If Taehyung is here, it's definitely for Seokjin.
"The pay for your exhibit-"
Jungkook immediately cuts off his cousin, "It's already paid." He rolled his eyes.
He knows where all of this is going. Of course, Taehyung is concerned about it thinking that Seokjin is carrying all of the expenses on his shoulders without him helping and it's irritating the hell out of Jungkook because that is the truth.
"You knew it? So you also knew that that's for his tuition fee, right?" Taehyung squinted his eyes.
Jungkook frozed in his spot. He looked at his cousin dead in the eyes as he tilted his head to the right.
No, Seokjin wouldnt do that. He loves the profession that he will possibly get after studying the reason as to why Seokjin doesnt want to give it up just like that.
"Yes, Jungkook. He is that selfless." Taehyung said in a stern voice.
He knows that he is not in the right position to say all of this to Jungkook. It might cause an argument between the both of them but Taehyung just cant let his friend suffer all the way.
Taehyung strongly believes that Jungkook really has the talent in the field that he badly wants to be in- the problem is that he couldnt get the big break that he needs again and they are unsure if he could get that soon.
Until when Seokjin has to work until he passed out to give everything that he needs? How much does Seokjin have to suffer just for Jungkook to achieve his dreams while he is throwing his own?
Taehyung took a step forwad and slightly pushed Jungkook.
If its any other day Jungkook would've punch the hell out of his cousin for acting like that towards him but no- he feels so ashamed letting his boyfriend do all of that and go through a lot of difficulties alone.
Perhaps, their friends were right. He is becoming nothing but a heavy baggage in Seokjin's life, a useless one.
He is alway kis stuck in his studio putting all of his efforts into his artworks hoping that he will make it big one day. Who is he kidding though? He will never make it. They tried for a lot of times already.
"Spare Seokjin all the f*****g pain, Jungkook." Taehyung said through gritted teeth.
Jungkook didnt say anything and remained his head hung low- ashamed as realization hit him.
