Unwanted Dinner Plans

Liam He returned home after finishing most of his work for the day. He was scheduled to visit his patrolling units at midnight, but that was later, so he thought of spending some quality time with his little possum. His Lycan agreed, excited to get a taste of his lover. She was supposed to be with Auntie Yindi, training to be his Luna. He hadn’t marked her yet. During moments of passion, there were times when his canines tingled and he desperately wanted to sink them into that delicate neck of hers, but he controlled. His Lycan was a little annoyed with his decision. He was being too righteous, trying to be right and thoughtful. He had already caused her a lot of pain and did not want to do anything that she wasn't ready for. ‘I don’t know what you are waiting for!’ His Lycan paced inside his head, eager to get home. ‘For the right time. What’s gotten into you? I can feel your anxiety.’ He shook his head to get rid of the feeling of someone walking around. He continued to walk through the forest land towards his home. In the last few months, they had connected major land mark caves and buildings with the main road through dirt tracks. Before that, the road ended at their office and every other place on his pack lands, needed to be accessed either by foot or by cycle. Werewolves weren't much into cycling. They preferred their wolves to run through the unkempt, untarnished forest land. They had undertaken no major construction yet, as they did not want the humans to notice a sudden development in that area and they enjoyed the rustic feel of their land. ‘It’s an unsettling feeling. I don’t know why! Just like the other day you met Monike! Should we meet Auntie Yindi and see why this is happening?’ His Lycan eventually sat down. ‘Okay. Let’s take a shower, then we can go pick up Ira. She would be with Auntie anyways. We can get her home and help her take a shower.’ He walked faster, eager to meet his mate, forming a plan of how he was going to help her in the shower. His special purchase had arrived recently, and he looked forward to using it. How would she react when it touched her most sensitive parts? The thoughts sent shivers of excitement through his body and his d**k twitched. Goddess! This woman was out of this world! His Lycan too agreed to the plan. He nodded at his hybrid guards and opened the door to his house. As he entered the living room, he stopped in his tracks. Ira’s fragrance teased him, and she sat curled up on the couch, reading the book written by him. “What are you doing here? And why are you reading that terrible book?” “Don’t be so surprised! Auntie Yindi had to visit the hospital as her sister’s kidneys are acting up again, so I agreed to meet her tomorrow. And no, this is not a terrible book. It is well written, and the characters are well defined. What I don’t get is how a ruthless rogue could think of such an engaging plot with such magnificent relationships!" Her beautiful blue eyes opened wide in her curiosity. "And vampires? Really?” He scooped her up and sat on the couch, pulling her onto his lap. Sniffing at her neck, taking in her scent, he mumbled. “I was young. My then girlfriend was into the Twilight series. She was in the team 'Edward'. So I thought of amusing her by writing this. But before the book was over, my relationship was, so I never finished it.” He kissed the top of her head. Her damp hair tickled his face. His Lycan whined. She had already showered. They would have to change their plan now. “Mmmm…” Ira snuggled into him as he continued to shower light feathery pecks on the side of her neck. “Girlfriend?? How many girlfriends did you have?” He placed his fingers under her chin and tipped her angelic face up. Her blue eyes stared at him, glowing with interest. “None that you need to be jealous of.” He bent his neck and place a warm kiss on her soft lips, teasing her for more. She had applied something with strawberries on her lips. That made them even more inviting. She mumbled against his lips, but he didn’t care. Lost in her taste, he continued to plunder her mouth, enjoying her velvety tenderness. Nothing else mattered, just the woman in his arms. He felt her trying to push against his chest. Surprised that she was pushing him away, he stopped and peered at her round, childlike face. “What’s the matter? Is everything alright?” “Yes! I have agreed to an invitation for dinner at the Li’l Bushman’s Bar.” Liam groaned. He wanted to spend the evening with her, and instead, she was planning to go out with Bella. He would need to have a word with Bella. “Hear me out, baby! I am not going alone. Both you and I are going.” She cooed. He lost track of what she said, hearing the endearment. His little possum was opening up to their relationship. “I don’t get it. Why does Bella need me to be there?” “Please don’t be upset.” Her words made his back go stiff. Why would he be upset? And he soon realised why… “We are going out with Monike. We need to pick her up at seven.” Even her hesitation was endearing. “Whatever you wish for, princess. I had refused to go out with her. Did not want anything to cause a rift between us.” “I am glad you did. But tomorrow, she leaves for good. As the Alpha and Luna, shouldn’t we have a send off dinner?” “Ah… When you put it that way, I can’t deny it, can I?” He showered her with more kisses. He couldn’t believe his luck at getting such a sensitive mate. This time, she kissed him back when he snogged her. His hand moved to stroke her pert boob. “Now you must get ready. You only have a few minutes.” She pulled back again, and he growled in dissatisfaction. “What about you?” He eyed her outfit. She had worn blue slim fit denim and a white crop top. Even in the simplest of clothes, she looked gorgeous. “I am ready. It's a casual dinner. I don’t need to dress up.” She tried to wriggle out of his hold and he pulled her back. He enjoyed the way her wiggling bum felt on his lap. A knock sounded at his door. Since his guards hadn’t alerted him, he knew it was someone from the pack, so he casually shouted, “come in.” Ira was still wiggling while Liam playfully held her. She was so light that he needed less than half his strength to hold her back. He laughed at her struggle as she gave him a stink eye and in walked Monike. The shock of seeing her in his living room, made him suddenly let go of Ira and Ira dashed against the coffee table, bumping her black tote bag off the table. The bag fell with a thud, all its contents got scattered on the floor, creating a clutter of cosmetics and god knows what. Flustered, Ira quickly shoved those things back in her bag, while Liam stared at Monike. Ira picked up her bag and smiled at Monike. “Oh! I did not know we were late!” She glanced at the wall clock that showed it was still fifteen minutes to seven. “You aren’t. Sorry, I was bored, so I thought of saving time by walking down here. I would have to walk from my living quarters to the main road anyways. Made sense for me to come here instead. I am sorry to interrupt.” She looked down, shuffling on her feet, her cheeks reddened in embarrassment. He did not know that Monike could blush. He had never seen that happen before. ‘She should be ashamed! She just barged into our house.’ His Lycan huffed. He was unhappy that they had to cut short their time with Ira. “That’s alright. Please have a seat. Liam was just heading to get a shower,” Ira looked at Liam and c*cked an eyebrow. He stared back at her with 'I am going to f**k you' eyes. He wasn’t finished with her yet. The fragrance of her arousal filled up the room and he knew he had achieved the look right. Thank goodness Monike was a human and couldn’t smell that. His Lycan growled in agreement. 'Send Monike away. Let's give Ira what she craves.' Liam rolled his eyes at his Lycan's zeal. He got up and ran a hand on his neck. Turning away from Monike, he adjusted his pants. He did not want Monike to see his er*ction. Once he was presentable, he turned around, greeted Monike and asked her to be comfortable while he got dressed. Looking at him, she blushed again, and he knew she had still noticed the tent in his pants. Monike could be really mean. She wasn't some blushing v*rgin. She didn't have to come to his house! He had a feeling it was just a ruse to begin the evening sooner. He groaned and left the room. This was going to be one long night! What was Ira thinking? *****
