Lucifer's Pov

For once I am grateful to the writers who write about werewolves. Because of them, Nia is happy about me being a werewolf.

Well, it was a bit shocking at first but I am happy that she took this thing well.

"I have some questions, Luci. I mean can I call you Luci??" she asked so innocently. I felt good when she called me that.

"Of course princess you can call me whatever you want but tell you what" I said and she asked cutely,

"What??"

"My parents used to call me by that name." I said with a sigh. She looked at me with a confused face and then asked,

"What do you mean by 'used to'? Do they not call you with that name anymore because you are a grown-up??"

"No princess, they are dead." I said sadly and she gasped, putting her hand on her mouth.

"I am sorry Lucifer for your loss. If you feel sad when I call you 'Luci' then I will not call you that. I didn't want to hurt you. I have just spoiled your mood. It's my mis...." she started blabbering at one point.

"Nia"

"I will never again call you by...."

"Nia"

"I always make you said. Last time I made you cry by making you eat those Cheetos" she was just saying nonstop.

At this point, she was just throwing her hand in the air and continued blabbering.

I put both my hands on her cheeks and made her look at me and yelled(not in a very loud voice),

"Calm down Nia. Listen to me" She was looking very panicked. When she finally looked into my eyes, I said,

"Now Nia breathe with me. Breathe in"

"Breathe out"

"Breathe in"

"Breathe out"

"Now calm down and listen to me. Ok" I said and she nodded.

"You didn't say anything bad. None of this is your fault. I don't mind you calling me Luci. You can call me anything you want princess." I said.

"But what if you get upset every time I call you that?? I just don't want to make you upset." she said with a hint of sadness and guilt in her voice.

"No princess, I won't. You know why??" I said, and she asked me curiously,

"Why??" looking at me with her puppy eyes.

"Because princess when you called me Luci, I felt happy, I felt content, I felt home. After the death of my parents, I never felt like this. This much happy. I only felt it with you. Ok, so never blame yourself. I love you. You never make me sad. I felt happiest with you." I said and she nodded.

I feel she is still not fully convinced. I think she still thinks that we don't like her calling me Luci.

"And whose fault is this to make her feel that way?" Sam said with his usual sarcasm. Such a right time to make his presence known.

"If you have told her about our parent's death in a different way, she might not have felt this way. It's all your fault and she is blaming herself." he said.

"I didn't know that she will blame herself. It's not my fault." I said in my defence but I know at some point it was my fault.

"Shut up. You are good for nothing. I will talk to her" before I can say anything, he took control.

When Sam took control, Nia was looking down.

"Mate" Sam said and her head shot up.

"What happened Lucifer?? Why does your voice sound deeper?? and why are your eyes glowing??" She said.

She is still calling me Lucifer. Looks like she is still not convinced.

"Mate I am Sam." he said. She made a confused face before asking,

"Sam??"

"Yes, mate. I am this asshole's wolf " he said and she laughed.

"Sam you dare call me an asshole. I am leaving this matter just because she laughed otherwise I would have given you an earful." I said to him. At least she laughed.

"Ooh. Hi Sam. You look really beautiful in your wolf form and your fur is so soft" she said and he started howling in mind.

"See mate complimented me. She is so cute" I swear he is a lovesick dog.

"Sam why are you here?? I mean I am happy that you are with me but why did you take control??" Nia asked.

"Because that asshole made you cry. He is good for nothing" he said. I swear if he is a person I would have killed him.

"No, it's not his fault. I asked the wro....." she was saying something but he cut her between and said,

"Of course it was that fools fault. If he had told you about our parent's death in a nicer way, you wouldn't have cried. Mate, believe me, you did nothing wrong. One day we would have eventually told you about this and about that Cheetos incident, I support you. He deserved that." he said but I can't say anything in my defence because unfortunately, he is right.

"So if I call him Luci, he will not feel bad. Right??" she asked innocently.

"Of course princess and even if he tried to yell at you just punish him and we will do this together. Ok??" he said and she hugged me while nodding her head.

"You are so sweet Sam. I like you" she said and he started jumping in my head.

"Sam I wanted to ask a question" she said, her head still buried in my chest.

"What can that be my princess?" he said. I am also curious now.

"Ah... It's just that I wanted to know which wolf are you. I meant to say are you a rouge, normal wolf, gamma or beta. What is your position?? I have been curious about that for this whole time." she said. Her eyes were shining when she said about the beta.

She didn't ask us if we are alpha or not. She seems to think that we are young, so we can't be alpha. Well, I will just prove her wrong.

"Did you just see her eyes? They shone when she mentioned beta. I think she like packs" Sam said.

"Mate sit down first then I will tell you" Sam said and she sat down.

"Mate we are alpha" Sam said. Her jaw dropped and her eyes were wide open like she couldn't believe it.
