"Slow down" She shouted. Though she got no reply, the boy's pace reduced significantly. "What game are we playing today?" Her eager and sweet voice called out from behind. The boy still walked on without a reply. " I want to play," She said with a pout which made her look so cute. She rushed forward to catch up with him but suddenly tripped and fell. She immediately started crying. The boy stopped in his tracks. He turned around and helped her to her feet while soothing her. She got herself hurt and cried nonstop. " Where does it hurt?" The boy asked. She pointed to her scratched arm. He started blowing air onto her injured arm to soothe her pain. She looked up trying to have a look at his face but couldn't see it since she was blinded by tears. She wiped her tears in an attempt to have a glimpse of his face but all to no avail. Suddenly the scene changed and this time she could see the boy's face. He was however not as gentle as he used to be. "Anne being me my tea" he ordered her. Her little legs increased in pace as she hurried to give him the tea. She tripped and fell, this resulted in the tea scalding her arms. "What is wrong with you, do you have any idea how expensive the tea is? How could you be so careless?" scolded her without caring about fact that she was hurt and crying. This made her feel wronged and she cried even louder. The boy just sneered and walked away. Everything became black unexpectedly and Anne woke up. She had a very bad feeling. Every time she had this dream something happened and most of the time it was nothing to write home about. As if on cue, the door to her room opened and in walked her mother. "Pack your things." She said even before Anne had the chance to greet her. " Why mum" Fifteen years old Anne asked. "Your father and I have decided that your presence in this house is a bad influence to your younger sister so we are sending you abroad." No mum, I can't to stay here with you all. I would help Anna with her homework. I would take more tests on her behalf. I'll play more instruments so that she would be more popular. I'll act as her body double on more movies. Tears begun to roll down her cheeks as she spoke "Can I at least say a final goodbye to William before leaving" Her mother agreed and she was soon on her way to see her fiance and crush of a decade. While on her way there, her mother's words kept repeating in her ears. She suddenly stopped when she heard her younger sister Anna's voice. " Brother Will, I hate it when I see sister all over you. I like you and I know you like me too. I should be the one who is your fiance and not Anne. She is stealing you away from me. I want to be your girlfriend." She said in an aggrieved voice. " Anna you would always be the one I'll acknowledge. I only tolerate your sister because my parents want me to but when we grow up I promise to make you my wife. And I also want you to be my girlfriend. Here take this necklace, it makes you my one and only future wife. Don't worry when I become powerful the whole world would know of this." He said as he gave her a necklace with a ring on it. Anne watched in surprise. That was the necklace she bought for him when her parents told her that she would get married to him in the future. That was when it finally hit her. Why he never took notice of her no matter how hard she tried. She downgraded herself to the extent that she became the laughing stock of her peers.
