Nyra: The rejected mate revenge

Chapter 2

Just like Aria had said, when Nyra was being taken away to be banished, some men surrounded their car, killing everyone inside it except her. When they came to her, they gave her a thunderous slap that made her unconscious.

When she opened her eyes it was late at night and she couldn't place where she was at. Everywhere was dark but then she remembered what had happened and wondered where she was now.

Suddenly the door slammed open and in walked a scary looking female. Nyra had never seen a female with as much enduring aura as she had. She wanted to stand when she realized that her hands and legs were chained.

“Unchain her.” The woman ordered and soon a strong man came running to unchain her.

She took another look at the woman and was sure she had never met her before but remembering what Aria had told her, Nyra concluded that the scary looking female must be the Alpha who was met to kidnap her. Aria had mentioned that the Alpha would ask her to do something to save her life.

“Who are you?” Nyra asked.

“You must have been briefed by Aria, I believe. You are here for a job and in exchange of you getting it done, I'll protect you.”

“Protect me? Why do you think you can protect me?”

“I just saved you from being banished and killed and I could keep doing it, you just have to do one single thing for me.”

“What is that?”

“I need you to kill someone for me.” Alpha Isabella broke the news. She had gotten a seat and was in front of Nyra with her glaring eyes.

Nyra was taken aback. How could she kill someone when she was being accused of killing someone already. The thought that she would be the reason why someone could lose their life made her cringe.

“I won't do it.”

“I know you didn't kill Alpha Derek but no one would believe you so I'm offering you protection from the Alpha Drake and his park.”

Nyra still couldn't understand what was happening. She could remember vividly that it was Aria that had told her about Alpha Isabella so it meant that the female Alpha already knew about Aria killing Alpha Derek. Why was she now offering her protection against her friend's park? Or wasn't Aria, her friend?

Nyra was going to say no to the offer seeing that it was going to hurt her the more. She had never killed anyone in her past life and she didn't want to do it now.

“I know that you are afraid but I'll make sure that you are protected by my best warriors. You won't exactly be the one doing the killing, I only need to make use of your face and body.”

“What do you mean by making use of my face and body?” Nyra asked. “I won't do it if you don't tell me the details.” She added.

Alpha Isabella took a deep breathe. She was an Alpha of a growing park but she had an enemy, the Lycan king, Alpha Jaxon, the strongest wolf in the territory who was bound to stopping her evil plans so she needed to get him out of the way.

When Aria, her friend told her about Nyra who was to be killed, she decided to use Nyra to get her goal. She had, in the past sent her men to kill Alpha Jaxon but he was always one step ahead of her. Now, she wanted to use Nyra to seduce him.

Nyra was a beautiful woman that would make a man fall for her even without touching her, so it all made sense. Nyra would seduce Alpha Jaxon with her face and body which will pave an opportunity for one of the warriors to put a knife in his chest.

In this way, no one would suspect Alpha Isabella of killing the Lycan king. It was just the perfect plan.

“You'll seduce him with your beauty but like I said, you don't have to do anything. One of my men will finish him off. You just have to agree and we can sign the contract.”

Nyra was shocked that the woman had a contract. She thought about it. Refusing to do things would mean that she'll get killed here and now but agreeing to do it, could also get her killed later. She had to choose between two deadly options.

She chose to die later. Probably, if the moon goddess was kind enough to her, she could get the chance to run away from these people that were after her.

“Signing the contract means that we both have to keep to our words. If you get him killed, you'll forever receive protection from me and no one dares to touch you but if you don't or try to run away, then I'll hunt you down and kill you, myself.” Alpha Isabella looked her dead in the eye. “I'm a woman of my words.”

“I'll do it.” Nyra finally agreed.

The next two hours was spent on bringing Nyra by to her normal self. A healer worked on her body, making sure she her wounds were jealed from the previous whipping she had experienced.

They fed her well and Isabella told her every single thing she had to know about the mission. It was a very dangerous one so she had to be extra careful. Nyra noted that if she eventually died during this mission, Isabella would go ahead and find someone else who would do a better job so she had to stay alive for herself and her revenge too.

She still hadn't forgotten how she was both humiliated and betrayed by people that she trusted. She still wanted to have her revenge on Aria and Alpha Drake so she had to stay alive.

Isabella had told her that the man had gone to a trip and was residing at a hotel which was a more easier place to kill him that at his park which was filled with warriors.

“This is your only chance of staying alive, don't mess it up.” Alpha Isabella ordered and soon Nyra and a couple of men set out. They were all dressed in black for no particular reason but underneath her clothes, Nyra had dressed sexily and had shaved earlier in case she had to use her body.

She still couldn't believe that she had agreed to this but these were the sacrifices she had to make to stay alive.

They drove to the hotel and the men in black took the lead as they took out the security men outside and inside the hotel lobby, like lightening. Carla watched as they fought and killed anyone that faced them until they got to a certain room.

Room 107. It was in this room that her victim was in.

“You'll go in first and do your thing. I'm sure he's the only one in there and he must be sleeping.” One of the men in black told her.

Nyra didn't think it was a good idea to go in on her own but luckily she had her own plans. If the man was awake, she would try to seduce him and use her knife to threaten him when he's distracted. If he was sleeping, she would whisper to the men outside to come in and finish him.

When she entered, it was dark so she didn't see when a hand captured her and stopped her from screaming to alert the men outside. She tried to get out the dagger she hid in her pocket but the strong hand held her still.

Nyra's hands were tied immediately and she was forced to stare into the most menacing eyes she'd ever seen. She was still wondering if the men outside knew what was happening in here when some men rushed into the room.

“Sir, the men outside have all been killed. All 19 of them.”

Nyra's knees became weak and she didn't know when she fell to the floor. The man who had captured her, bent to look into her scared eyes and a strange word came out of his mouth.

“Mate.”

Nyra still couldn't believe what she heard. Mate? How was it possible that her fated mate had just rejected her and now, her second chance mate was a dangerous Alpha who from the look in his eyes was going to make life a living hell for her.

“I'll make you wish you never met me.” He growled. The contact his hand made with her cheek brought her to unconsciousness.
