Chloe’s Point of View I slowly walk next to Zayde, my boots crunching softly against the dry undergrowth. We don’t say much at first, but after a few more minutes of silence, I can't take it anymore. I finally glance up at him. He look calm as he stares ahead of us, but I know better than to take that at face value. “Does it still hurt?” I suddenly ask, my voice soft.
