I cut the link with the Alpha before quickly approaching the entrance. With my heart pounding wildly in my chest, I take a deep breath, trying to steady myself before I knock on the door.
The door creaks open, revealing a tall vampire with piercing red eyes, the familiar sickening sweet scent surrounding him.
He eyes me suspiciously, taking a wiff of my scent before narrowing his eyes.
