Lindsay's Point of View
Five days later I am being led into a very dimly lit room by Thane and Elara, who had been assigned to watch me. As I enter the room, my eyes immediately land on Lucien sitting at the head of a very long table. He gives me a smirk and I quickly nod my head in acknowledgment. My gaze then shifts to Reina, who sits on his right, her eyes narrowed as she glares at me. I don't bother acknowledging her, my gaze drawn by Thane, who moves closer to them and sits down on Lucien's left. Elara stays behind me, leaning against the wall.
I stand at the other end of the table, slightly shifting my feet before looking back at Lucien, who is leaning back in his chair, his posture relaxed but calculated as he watches me.
"Elara said you wanted to speak to me?"
I ask and Lucien
