"Zayde, Jack, you should head back to the pack. Joe and I have this under control."
Scott says with a sigh, staring at me, with Joe nodding his head, confirming Scott's words.
I arch my brow at them.
"Are you telling me, your Alpha, what to do?"
"I’m telling a leader to think like one. They want to get to you. If they realize we are here, that you are here... If something goes wrong, the pack needs its Alpha. We can't afford to lose you."
