Zayde's Point of View My desk lamp casts long shadows across the room. Papers and maps are spread out in front of me, but the words blur together and nothing sticks. I sigh, leaning forward, resting my elbows on the desk, my fingers laced together as I rest my forehead against it. My mind is stuck on Lindsay and the vampire nest. After our conversation with Lindsay, Scott and Jack insisted that I came back to the pack, saying they could take care of it if anything were to happen.
