LEXI
After
hanging up with Katie and Alex, I call Lexi, my best friend. Lexi is Matt’s
sister, and we met two years ago when Matt and his fiancée, Erin, suggested she
spend her week of vacation at the hotel where I was working.
We
got along right away, and thanks to her I got my current job. Now that we work
in the same building, we often see each other and our friendship has grown
since I moved to Springville. Lexi has a good head on her shoulders; I know she
will be of great help to me.
“Wait
a minute!” she exclaims as I begin to tell her about my morning. “Did you just
say that you ran into Logan, Matt’s friend? The man you were in love with three
years ago?”
