Chapter Sixteen Wednesday, August 12, 2015 Pastor Derek is in Korea now. He sent me a message telling me he was having kimchi for lunch as I was going to bed yesterday. I was really only going to church because he was my friend. I see very little reason to continue going now that he’s gone. Within the church congregation there was a faction of people who came to services that were not really believers of organized religion, or as the church presents it.
