Chapter Seventeen Monday, August 17, 2015 Last Saturday we went to Toronto at eleven in the morning. Sarah’s best friend drove us to the subway station on the northernmost side of Toronto. I wanted to visit some of the old hangouts, but I wasn’t sure we were going to get to because Mac DeMarco was performing at a park on the south side of Toronto, a few hundred meters from Lake Ontario. When we got to the subway station agent to buy tokens, he sold us a family pass to give us unlimited trips on the transit all day. As soon as we got that, I knew where to go.
