The first one to tie the knot after so many years among the six of us in the High and Untouchable Gods Society. He is excited so we can't miss this in our entire life. His wedding will take place at one of his properties in Palawan. The one that he recently have purchased and named after his soon-to-be-wife. He have already arranged our transportation and I am about to meet the other four members since ang usapan namin ay sabay-sabay na kaming lima na pupunta sa Lovely Island in Coron. Pagdating ko sa meeting place namin which is at REIZ AIRLINES ay nakita ko kaagad sila Klein, Martin and Stern. Hindi na hinanap pa ng mga mata ko si Li, I knew that asshole so damn well kaya I'm pretty damn sure that he is late again as usual. We exchange greetings when I've approached the three. I was about to say something when someone from my back talked. 'Ares Timothy Li isn't late! I am here! I am here fellas!' sabay halakhak ng malakas that made me shake my head several times. 'Don't panic, Li is here!' he gave me a pat at the back. 'Late ka na naman Li!' Stern utter as he gaze at his wrist watch. 'No I'm not late Stern. Sadyang maaga lang kayong dumating. Excited assholes! Hahahahaha! Hindi kayo ang ikakasal men, mind you! Cut the excitement fever!' 'We better be going if we want to arrive in Coron on time. Reiz is expecting us tonight.' nauna ng maglakad sila Stern, Martin and Klein. I walk with Li. 'You might want to button that f*****g shirt of yours Li. Magpapalagay ka na lang ng kiss marks sa babae mo, yung kitang-kita pa.' he laugh loudly before buttoning his shirt. As planned, we landed precisely at Lovely Island around 6pm. Reiz's staffs assisted us to our temporary shelter for the event then after half an hour, we were called for dinner together with the groom. Since maaga pa and the wedding ceremony is scheduled tomorrow afternoon, nag-inom muna kaming magkakaibigan. The following day is the most anticipated day for our friend Reiz and his girlfriend Catherine Lovely. Everyone are busy umaga pa lang. But me and my other friends except Reiz went to the far end of the island to go surfing. Mahilig akong mag-surf. Everything that has to do with the sea, above or underneath, ay gustong-gusto ko. Aside sa business, the sea is next to my heart. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Poseidon Israel Smith who was born and crafted in the beautiful island of Hawaii. I am an only child. Both my parents are at their 30s when they got me. Although they were married in their mid 20s, their businesses snatched their time to create a family sooner. My family is into resort business. My parents owned two resorts, one is in Melborne and the other one is in Maui Hawaii. I grew up watching them manage and supervise everything, a reason why I am in the same field now. But aside sa mga resorts ko, nasa seafaring business rin ako. Bago pa magsulputan ang ibang mga seafaring companies around the world, PIS SHIPPING was the first. I was the first to put up a seafaring company in the neighboring country and everyone just follows nung makita nilang maganda ang takbo at pagtanggap ng mga customers sa company ko and money was flowing freely like waterfalls. Since I love to travel by water and most of my businesses are related to water, pinasok ko rin ang cruise line industry. I've bought three ships which I named PIS Cruise, PIS Cruise II, PIS Cruise III. Yung una kong binili is for my personal use only. Hindi ko ito pinapagamit for public and leisure travels unlike my other two ships. The PIS Cruise is what I uses kapag kailangan kong bisitahin ang mga resorts ko all across the globe. At age 33 turning 34 eventually, no one had captured my heart yet except for one woman. Don't get me wrong, I love women. But maybe dahil narin sa focus ko sa work ko kaya I am still single at the moment and with no relationships whatsoever. I've got attracted by some women na akala ko will lead into something romantic pero once I get to know them further, nawawala ang interest ko sa kanila. I see them as gold-diggers na lumalapit lang to you just because you are wealthy and famous and they wanted to milk you to the brim. Only two women lang ang nakakuha ng attention ko noon in a short span of time. One was my ex who happens to be Pretty Bella's mom which was history to me already and the other one was married that time when I've met her in Australia. Her angelic features caught me right away, but I am not a home wrecker saka busy rin ako during those times. But I've said before to myself na kapag nakita ko siya ulit ay liligawan ko na siya if she is single by that time. Kaso, the time I've seen here again was when my friend Reiz brought her in one of our society meetings. Honestly ay nagulat talaga ako. My long life crush ay girlfriend na pala ng kaibigan ko. Regret? Maybe yes. Kasi siguro kung hindi ko inuna ang businesses ko, baka naging kami. But I perfectly believed that if it was meant for me, it will end up on me. So maybe Catherine Lovely Laroza Wittsburg wasn't really the woman for me because hours from now, she will officially and legally be Mrs. Zeus Genesis Reiz. And I am happy for my friend because I deeply knew that she is a good woman and they will have a wonderful family with their first born Ziggy. We are now here at the entrance of a built-in hallway near the seashore. They will be having a beach wedding, something that I also wanted someday. Magkakasama na ang mga participants for the entourage. My friends Martin and Klein are also part of the secondary sponsors same as I am at ang magiging partner ko as what I've learned was none other than Catherine Lovely's youngest sister whom I haven't met yet since once lang akong nakasama sa practice and that time ay wala naman ang sister niya. I immediately saw Catherine Lovely when she walked in. Ang ganda talaga niya. If it wasn't Reiz whom she will be wedded with, gumawa na ako ng paraan para agawin siya. Her beauty is very exquisite and charming and angelic but also fierce in some way and fiesty. 'You're so beautiful, Catherine Lovely.' I said the moment she was infront of me. 'You're so handsome yourself Poseidon Israel.' I smile back at her then I notice when the woman beside her slightly pressed her arm. 'Oh! Ahm... Poseidon, this is my youngest sister Coreen Louise Laroza.' So standing next to my long life crush is my partner at this entourage. Coreen, her youngest sister. 'Hi Coreen.' I meekly greet her as a sign of respect to the bride. 'Hi.' she said jittery. I nod when the bride excuses herself and went to the other entourage participants, leaving me with her sister. I am just waiting for the ceremony to start when a high pitch voice appears from nowhere. 'Kasama ka pala ni Kuya Genesis sa society nila. Sabi ni Ate matagal na daw kayong magkaka-kilala.' I have no choice but a shortly gaze at her dahil pangit naman kung hindi ko siya papansinin although that was clearly on my mind as of the moment. 'Ah yes.' I return my gaze in front of me and try to ignore her. 'How old are you by the way Poseidon?' 'Turning 34.' I answered promptly without looking her way. 'Wow! Talaga? But you don't look 34, parang mga nasa late 20s ka lang.' I shrug. 'I'm 24 by the way, that is kung tatanungin mo ako.' I look around to go somewhere else. This woman starts to annoy me. 'Where are you staying pala?' 'In New York.' I've stated the farthest place from here na alam kong malabong mapuntahan ng babaeng ito. 'Really!' she quickly shake my arm that really pisses me off. 'How ironic! I'm staying in New York as well. Working as a brand model in Vogue! Saan ka dun? Malay mo we are just neighbors right!' her voice irritates me freaking much. Masyadong matinis na nakakaasar na pakinggan. Honestly, I hate nosy people. Isn't it pretty obvious that I don't want to talk to her nor have a deeper conversation with her? But it's very f*****g obvious also that she was hitting on me. I knew her style so well, kagaya ng ibang mga babaeng nakita at nakilala ko na. Although don't get me wrong again, this woman beside me right now is freaking attractive and has an oozing self-confident in her bones but I perfectly knew what she's up to. No offense to Catherine Lovely which I have a high respect on, but her sister here is way too low on my standards. She is way too low class than her sister. Girls like Coreen who were young and exposed in the fashion world ay madalas masilaw sa glittery things and material surroundings her. All the glam and glits of those industries can spike someone's manners and attitudes if not properly handled. And clearly, Coreen is just one of the few. 'Parang ayaw mo naman akong kausap.' there is mockery underneath her words but I don't give a s**t about it. 'I'll just go to my friends. I forgot something that I need to say to them.' hindi ko na siya hinintay pang sumagot, I immediately made my way to where my friends are. Coreen Louise Sanay ako sa limelight and fancy atmosphere dahil isa ako sa mga kinikilala sa New York as one of the top brand models of Vogue. Pero sa totoo lang, wala pa akong nakikitang mas bo-bongga pa sa kasal ng Ate ko ngayon. Everything is very precise and elegantly spotless. Mula sa beach resort na pag-aari ng mapapang-asawa ni Ate to the accomodations down to the area kung saan gaganapin ang mismong ceremony and their list of distinguished guests. Lahat ay super duper engrande. Wala kang makikitang bisita na puchu. Lahat may sinasabi sa buhay base on just how the way they all look now. Nakakalula ang mga naglalakihang mga gifts na nasa isang side at ang mga jewelries ng mga female guests ay talagang magagarbo. Kung mahinang klase kang tao ay mai-intimidate ka sa mga makakahalubilo mo. Mabuti na lang at nasanay na ako with the fashion industry at kung paano maki-mingle sa mga nasa higher class society. Salamat sa agency ko at kaya kong makipagsabayan ngayon sa mga guests nila Ate at Kuya Genesis. Hindi ko akalain na ang lalaking kanina ko pa tinitignan ang siyang magiging kapartner ko pala sa entourage. Alam kong isa sa mga kaibigan ni Kuya Genesis sa society nila ang partner ko but I really didn't knew, although I've prayed for, na si Poseidon ang partner ko. This was the first time I've seen the participants of the entourage dahil wala ako sa lahat ng practice before since sumabay yun during my fashion month in other country that time. Kaya ngayon ko lang nakita si Poseidon and my God talaga! He is freaking too hot sa mata! Lahat na yata ng gusto ko sa isang lalaki physically ay nasa kanya na. Matangkad, hot and sexy, gwapo, malakas ang appeal, mukhang matalino kahit na hindi pa bumubuka ang bibig and most especially... Sikat at mayaman. Totoo, ambisyosa ako. Mataas ang pangarap ko at isa na doon ay ang makapang-asawa ng mayaman at kilala sa lipunan na lalaki kagaya na lang ni Ate ngayon. Huwag na kayong magtaka dahil sa taong lumaki ng salat at hindi mabili ang mga gusto niya, natural lang sa akin ang mangarap ng matayog na mas matayog pa sa Mt. Everest. Pasalamat na lang talaga ako at masipag saka madiskarte si Ate Lovely noon. Natapos ako sa college sa tulong niya at ng unang asawa niyang yumao na. Nakatungtong ako sa New York and landed a great job dahil narin sa mga connections ni Kuya William na naging back-up ko. Kaya malaki ang utang na loob ko kay Ate Lovely dahil kung hindi dahil sa kanya at sa unang asawa niya, malamang wala parin akong nararating hanggang ngayon. Malaman wala ako sa kung saan man ako naroroon ngayon. I owe everything to Ate Lovely. Everything I have right now na hindi ko makukuha if not for her. Kaya masaya ako para sa kanya dahil ang lalaking matagal na niyang minamahal noon ay siya rin mapapang-asawa niya ngayon. I am happy for her. Pero hindi maalis sa loob ko na mainggit sa kanya. Sobrang blessed niya sa lahat. Kay Ziggy na bukod sa napakabait na mapagmahal pang anak at kay Kuya Genesis na bukod sa gwapo at mayaman ay responsible at mabait rin. Sana ako rin someday. Sana ako rin someday ay makatisod ng kagaya ni Kuya Genesis or higit pa kay Kuya Genesis na gagawin akong reyna ng mundo niya at ilalagay ako sa pinaka-mataas na pedestal. I have past relationships at bilang isang model sa isang banyagang lugar, hindi na bago sa akin ang salitang s*x. Ilan na ba ang mga naging boyfriends ko? Honestly lahat sila ay nakasama ko na in bed which is a normal thing in liberated countries. Sadly although gusto ko ng pang-matagalan na relationships, all ends up short-lived. First glance ko pa lang kanina at him ay daig ko pa ang na-starstruck or tinamaan ng kidlat. Feeling ko tinamaan ako ng isang malaking meteor sa pagkabighani ko sa kanya. Parang biglang natutok ang buong attention ko sa kanya at wala na akong nakikita pang iba but him. Kaso suplado siya. Sana lang ay hindi niya sa akin ginawa ang ginawa niya kanina dahil talagang tinamaan ako sa kanya. Sapul na sapul na para akong na-magnet at na-hypnotize sa kanya. 'Bakit tahimik ka Coreen?' napatingin ako kay Ate Lovely na hindi ko napansin na nasa tabi ko na pala. 'Wala naman Ate.' 'Iniisip mo na naman ba ang trabaho mo sa New York?' I didn't said a word. 'Pwede ba Coreen kahit ngayon lang, huwag mo munang isipin ang trabaho mo. Kasal ko ngayon pero here you are still thinking about your work.' ngumiti lang ako sa kanya. Kung alam niya lang kung ano at sino ang gumugulo sa isip ko ngayon baka mawindang siya. 'Ate may tanong ako?' 'Ano yun?' 'Lahat ba ng mga kaibigan ni Kuya Genesis ay may mga asawa na? I mean, tali na ba sila?' kita ko ang pagkagulat niya sa tanong ko. 'Ang Kuya Genesis mo pa lang ang may asawa sa kanilang anim, Coreen. Bakit mo naman naitanong?' 'Wala lang.' nagkibit-balikat ako kasabay nang pagtaas ng isang kilay ni Ate. 'Pero may girlfriends na kaya sila? I mean, single pa kaya single or taken na?' tumingin ulit ako sa table kung saan magkakasama sila Kuya Genesis at ang mga kaibigan nito. My eyes are glued on Poseidon na ngayon ay tumatawa habang kausap ang katabi niya. Oh my God talaga! Ang gwapo niya as in! Ang swerte for sure na magiging asawa niya. Nakilala ko na ang mga yan and believe me, they are womanizers lalo na ang Ares na yan at si Hermes. Wala silang balak na magpatali sa kasal, all they ever wanted is to bed women tapos ay goodbye na. Ganon sila.' 'But they look charming, harmful and innocent.' 'Looks can be deceiving Coreen. Don't be mislead by their handsome and god-like appearances.
