Hope Harold Salonga is diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, he experience shortness of breathing, fatigue and weight loss. He lived his life for the past 18 years almost in the hospital, treatments work for him at first but as he grew older he noticed that the government, who happened to be his sponsors on his treatment, is losing their interest on him and his very rare disease, why? Because he loses hope and he always thinks that he will die eventually so why bother? Is it ironic he was named after a trait he doesn't have yet an essential for him to survive. As hope is departing from his mind, he met Sean Francisco, a resident inspirational speaker in the hospital, he always talk to those people who are suffering from deadly diseases because he also came from there, where he was also diagnosed with cancer. When they met, Sean was talking about having hope in this time when they are facing some struggles, where Harold was happened to be there, they argued about having hope to live or lose hope when you don't have life to live. A hopeful cancer survivor man met a hopeless sick man, they always negate each other, Sean wants Harold to replenish his hope to fight. When they opened up for each other they saw sadness, vulnerability, and a piece of hope with in, little they didn't know when they are on their process in knowing and accepting each other, the find affection and attraction for each other.
