Pain exploded through Maia’s back as she hit the ground, her vision spinning from the brutal impact. With instinct taking over, she attempted to rush up, but Gigi was already on her.
With a scream of rage escaping her before Maia could react, Gigi's eyes glowed with rage as she delivered her first punch, her claws flashing and raking across Maia's face, just missing her eye.
But that was all Gigi got. Maia's shock soon gave way to rage after seeing her blood spilling onto the ground. She grabbed Gigi's second blow and twisted it violently.
