Leon slammed the door shut in their room and it woke up Helena. He was trembling in anger from what he learned from his brother. He was breathing heavily, so he had to sit down.
“Leon?”
He heard her speak behind him. Leon immediately stood up and walked towards the bed. She was rubbing his belly at the same time, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
“I’m sorry about that. Did I wake you up?” Leon sat next to her and hugged her.
“What’s wrong? What are you angry about?”
Leon looked at Helena, “I was just thinking, perhaps we should go back to my vacation house in Casline. You’d be able to rest there better. I have already filed for a longer leave of absence and when I get back to work I’ll be working remotely from home, so I could help you take care of our baby once you give birth.”
