Jackson was waiting outside the door for Leon. When he heard the door open, he saw Leon come out. The police officers readied themselves. Jackson stood next to his brother and they just stared at each other. He put his hand on Leon’s shoulder. “I’ll get you out, just give me time,” Jackson said, to which Leon nodded his head in response. Leon turned to the detective, “You can cuff my hands if you want to, Detective.” He could smell the tension coming from the police officers as the detective stood closer to him. He put his arms out towards the detective for him to put the handcuffs on. Leon felt the immediate bite of the handcuff on his wrist. “It’s a handcuff made for hybrids like you. For some reason I had it on me, just for precaution,” the detective said. He moved out of the way
