Chapter 6

New Love

Garth ran, he didn't stop until he was near his dad den. He saw both Lilly and Travis was there already. Travis turn around and saw his cousin with a look of anger, confused and sadness. Garth stopped in front of Travis, breathing heavily.

Garth: yelling: "What happen!?"

Travis: "Garth please calm down first."

Garth: yelling: "What the hell happened!?"

Travis: sigh: "He was attacked by a female wolf. We already have two highly skilled Alpha tracking her already."

Garth: yelling: "What!? Is he okay?"

Lilly: "Yes Garth, he's fine. He's actually sleeping right now."

Garth: sigh: "Anything too serious?"

Travis: "No, he fought her quite well. She was only able to knock him out."

Garth sigh again and relax. Travis saw that he was shaking a little.

Garth: "Can I go in?"

Travis: nodding: "Sure Garth."

Garth walked into the den and saw her dad sleeping. He was being guarded by two Alpha wolves. One of them was Luna. Garth walked up to her and surprise her with a gentle nuzzle.

Garth: "Thank you for guarding him."

Luna: blushing: "No p-problem Garth."

Garth laid down beside his dad, putting his neck on his dad's. Lilly and Travis smile and headed back to their den.

The next day

The two Alphas that was chasing Misty return. Travis and Garth stood before them.

Garth: "Report."

Alpha 1: "She have escape us by running into the Northern Pack. We tried to explain the situation to the Alphas guarding the area, but they told us to return back to our pack."

Garth: growling: "What!? I told you we couldn't trust those Northern packs bastards."

Alpha 2: "I say that they plan this attack. We must counter attack them quickly."

Travis: "No, we do not know if she is apart of their pack or not. If we just attack recklessly, we can cause a pack war."

Garth: "I don't care, they attack my dad and I want the attacker to stand before me, begging for mercy."

Travis: yelling: "Garth! We are not attacking the Northern Pack. And besides if they truly are the one that plan this, we have no main proofs. It will let us look like the bad ones."

Garth: growling: "Read my f*****g lips. I. Don't. Give. A. Damn."

Travis: "Garth don't let anger and revenge get the better of you. I know you've been hurt, but you must think this through."

Garth: "I've already thought this through. I say that we attack."

Travis: "Well I say that we don't. And Lilly will be our tie breaker and you and I both know that she won't agree with you."

Garth glare at his cousin with so much hate at that moment. His hate for him only getting worst by the second. Travis match his cousin glare, not backing down. The two stayed like that for over three minutes. It was Travis who broke the stare down and walked away.

Travis: "We are not attacking the Northern pack."

Garth: "We'll see about that."

Three days later

Travis, Garth and Lilly all stood near the meeting ground. They have request to meet Ocean to meet with them to talked about the attack. Tony was back to full strength and is watching the pups along with Luna. Only Travis, Lilly Garth and five other Alphas (that were hidden) stood near the meeting ground.

Garth: "Where is she? We have been waiting here for almost half an hour."

Travis: "I know, this isn't like her. When she hear about the name Garth or Travis, usually she's blushing like mad."

Lilly: "Maybe she's busy."

Travis: "No, if she was then she wouldn't have agree to meeting with us today."

Garth: "Something is wrong."

Misty: "Indeed it is."

All three heads turn to the wolf with blue fur and eyes walking toward them. Misty stood ten feet away from them, an evil smirk on her face. One of the Alpha jump from his hiding spot and growled at Misty.

Alpha: "Thats her, she's the one that attack Tony."

Garth: "What!?"

Garth rushed after Misty but at the last second was stopped by Travis. Travis held onto Garth tail and pull him away from Misty.

Misty: smiling: "My hero, The Great Travis, aka experiment T."

That caused Travis to release Garth's tail. Garth and Lilly looked at Travis, and saw the color drain from his face.

Misty: "Thats right, we know who you is. You was created by Dr. Tracy. A Bio doctor who can cross breed animals with other animals. You is her best experiment by far. And no doubt the handsomest."

Lilly: growling: "Watch it."

Misty: scoffed: "Oh please. Anyway, if you're waiting for my sister don't even bother. I attack her last night and she healing right about now. Oh and my name is Misty by the way."

Garth: "So the Northern pack isn't responsible for attacking my dad?"

Misty: "No, that was all my leader idea. My sister only went along with it because she thought that she would get either you or Garth as her mate. I would have killed her if it wasn't for my nephew. But he won't be much trouble anymore."

Lilly: gasped: "You mean you..."

Misty: smirking: "Killed him? Yes I did, you should seen my sister face. She was crying and saying "Why", hahaha it was so funny."

Garth: "You sick and twisted little b***h!"

Garth took a step towards her, but three Alpha wolves jump in front of Misty.

Misty: purring: "Not so fast big boy. I am only here to deliver a message to him."

Misty said, pointing her paw at the still stun and silent Travis. Lilly gently shook her mate, bringing Travis back to earth.

Misty: "We are the Death Pack. Our leader is called Eclipse. And both of you have many things in common. Both of you were created by Dr. Tracy. But he has Dingo DNA."

Garth: "What are you talking about you crazy b***h?"

Misty: "He said that you have two choices. You can fight me and take me down or you can go and save your pathetic human. Because by the end of the day, she will die."

Travis heart drop to his stomach. He only stare at Misty. For the first time, Travis felt...weak.

Misty: "So tell me you hybrid..."

Travis: growling: "Don't call me that!"

Misty: "Hahaha, fine then you freak, mutant, abomination."

Travis: yelling: "Shut the f**k up!"

Misty: purring: "Oh my gosh, I just had a mini orgasms when you yelled at me like that."

Travis: "Garth, please take Lilly back to the pack. I want to Alphas to go and report everything to Kate and Humphrey. While another three go to the Northern pack and see if what she said is true."

Lilly: "What? Travis I'm not leaving you."

Travis: "Yes you are, now!"

Lilly: "Travis I am not leaving you."

Garth: "Travis we can take her down now, if we do then his strength will be cut in half."

Travis: "Its me you want right? Then come and get me. Lilly go home now!"

Travis ran south, Misty nod and two of the wolves took chase after Travis. While Misty and the other Alpha ran west. Two of the Eastern wolves ran toward the Western pack and the other three headed North. Leaving Garth and Lilly all alone.

Garth: "Lilly we need to leave."

Lilly: crying: "But Travis..."

Garth: "Will be fine. Now come on, we need to head back and you need to be strong for your pups."

Lilly sigh but nod her agreement. Both slowly took their time heading back to the pack.

Lilly: whispering: "Travis please be safe and come back to me."

With Travis

Travis is a fast wolf, he's a hybrid, he's no ordinary wolf. He's very special and it's all thank to his human. She is the reason he's alive, why he has a mate, why he's a dad. Travis ran as fast as his legs would let him. The two Alphas were twenty feet behind him. Travis make sure that the gap stay that way. He have over two to three hours of running.

Forty minutes later

Travis stop and rest on a tree, he have somehow lost the two Alphas. Travis took a deep breath in, trying to regain his senses. Travis rested for only five minutes. He turn around and started to run but was tackle to the ground. One of the Alpha wolf found him, he tried to bite at Travis' neck. But at the last second, Travis move his head and headbutt the wolf mouth. The wolf stagger off of Travis, whining from the pain in his mouth. Travis didn't give him a chance and attack the wolf. Travis bit down on his right ear and rip it clean off. The wolf howled in pain, next Travis tackle him into the tree. Knocking him out cold.

Travis: breathing hard: "I need to hurry."

One hour and ten minutes later

Travis is close. He was only another forty minutes away from home. He has rested three more time, his lungs cried for him to stop and rest completely. But he didn't listen, he is so f*****g close. Travis stop and took another five minutes rest.

Travis: panting: "Another five minutes then I will continue."

Travis was only able to lay down before the last Alpha attack him. The two rolled around, both scratching, biting and headbutting the other. The fight lasted for over seven minutes. Travis spear the wolf in his belly, Travis quickly turn around and bit down on the wolf back left leg. The wolf howled in pain, Travis got off him but kept his mouth closed tight on his leg. With the last reminder of his strength, Travis lift the wolf in the air and slam him into a nearby tree. The wolf was out cold.

Travis: "f**k, I wasted to many time."

Travis continue his journey.

Jasper Town

He have reach, Travis slowly walked into Jasper Town. He ran toward his house, he enter the backyard. Only to be tackle once again, Travis slam into the fence. Travis slowly shook his head, his vision blurry.

Eclipse: "Congratulations on making it on time. Because of that I will not kill that w***e, but instead I'll kill you instead."

Travis looked up and saw Eclipse towering over him. Eclipse took a few step back, before charging head first into Travis.

Travis: howling in pain: "Aaahhh!"

Eclipse then started to beat Travis down with his paws, hitting his face, chest and stomach. Travis tried to attack but he was too tired and weak. Eclipse bit Travis on his neck and threw him into the house wall hard. Travis cough out a mouthful of blood, before sliding down on his back. Eclipse stood over his victim with a victory smile on his face.

Eclipse: "Now it's time for you to die."

Travis: "I'm sorry Lilly."

Bang!

Eclipse yelp in pain, he looked up and saw his former owner with a rifle gun pointing at him. The shot connect, hitting him in his right shoulder. Eclipse growled but dodge the next bullet that was fired at him. Eclipse hop over the fence and ran away. The Doctor sigh and ran toward her friend. Travis look up and saw Tracy knee down and carefully lay his head on her lap.

Dr. Tracy: crying: "Dear God, Travis I am so sorry."

Travis whined and slowly closed his eyes to rest. Tracy slowly and carefully lift Travis in her arm and took him inside. Inside she tended to all his wounds, and put him on drips. Tracy stayed awake all night with her rifle gun, watching over her best friend, her greatest experiment...her son.

The next day

Travis slowly open his eyes, he saw the loving face of his owner. Tracy is a woman in her latest thirties, with brown hair (that was in a ponytail), green eyes with glasses. She was dressed in a white blouse, blue leggings, slippers and a white lab coat. Tracy got up and went out the door. A few minutes later, she enter the room with a bowl of water, a bowl of dog food and a small writing board. She took out the drip and held up the bowl of water toward Travis mouth. Travis gladly drank half the water, next was the dog food then the water again. Tracy then gave him his writing board with an eraser and ink pen.

Dr. Tracy: "Travis are you okay?"

Travis took the ink pen into his mouth and wrote down.

Writing board: Yes, I'm fine Tracy.

Dr. Tracy: sigh of relief: "Why were you fighting with project E?"

Writing board: He attack my uncle and the northern pack leader. He was coming after you next.

Dr. Tracy: "I see, thank you son for saving me."

Tracy said and petted Travis on his head. Travis our and nuzzle into his mom hand.

Dr. Tracy: "When you is ready, I'll give you a ride home."

Writing board: But what about you?

Dr. Tracy: "I'll be fine, I'll always but armed and watch my back. I promise."

Writing board: Okay, if you're sure.

Dr. Tracy: nodding & smiling: "Yes, now why don't you tell me what's been going on with you?"

For half the day, both son and mother talked/write about all the new changes. Catching up on old times, Travis told Tracy that he, his mate and their pups will be visiting in a few weeks. Around two pm, Tracy helped Travis into her truck and drove him back to the eastern pack. Travis gave Tracy one last lick and nuzzle goodbye.

Dr. Tracy: "Goodbye Travis, see you soon."

Tracy drove back to Jasper Town. Travis slowly walked back to the pack. Half his body was wrap in white bandage. When he enter the pack, it was Luna who saw him first.

Luna: howling: "Travis is back."

Luna ran to help Travis. Pretty soon, Lilly, Snow, Angel and Garth was there. Lilly hug him and kiss him, while the twins nuzzle him. Garth sigh, he was loving the time he, Lilly and the pups were sharing. Luna walked up to him and gently nuzzle him.

Garth: "What happen Travis?"

Travis: "Eclipse happen."
