Chapter 5

New Love

Four days later

Northern pack

Travis: "So let me get this straight. You will not agree to unit packs unless My daughters marry one of your wolf?"

Asked Travis.

Ocean: "Yes that is right."

Answer Ocean, the northern pack leader. She is an Alpha wolf with blue fur, blue eyes, same age as Kate and have one pup (son).

Garth: "That seems fair."

Travis: "Fair my ass, I will not do no such thing."

Ocean: "Then our new option will be if Garth be my new mate and bear my some pups."

Ocean said with a smirk and a wink at Garth.

Travis: "Deal."

Garth: "No deal."

Travis: "Deal. Take one for the pack."

Garth: "No deal. Why don't you take one for the pack?"

Ocean: "Boys boys, we been here all day. May I remind you that today is your last day in the northern. Thus we need to make a decision before you both leave."

Travis: "I am not letting my daughters to married anyone that they doesn't love."

Garth: "And I am not breeding anyone if it's not Lilly."

Ocean: "I see, then it seems that because of both of your stubborness our pack will not be joining together. And if we don't join then neither will the southern pack. Even if you and Micheal are good friend, Travis. He will not join if I don't join."

Travis was silent. She was right, Michael told him that last year. Travis sigh and closed his eyes to think very carefully. After a few minutes both his eyes open.

Travis: "Then I guess my dream won't be achieve. Sorry but I rather die than give my daughters rights away. I love them more than my dream to see a whole pack. I am sorry for wasting your time Ocean."

With that both Travis and Garth walked away. Leaving a very angry Ocean behind. Who smirked evilly before walking into her den.

Garth: "What now oh great fearless leader?"

Garth asked in a sarcastic tone. Travis didn't answer him and kept on walking. It took them over two hours until they reach the Western pack. Travis told Kate and Humphrey everything.

Kate: "I think you did the right move Travis."

Humphrey: "No. He DID the right thing. I would never force any of my pups to be with someone they don't love."

Garth: "But now what?"

All head turn towards Travis, said wolf was too deep in thought to even answer. After over ten minutes Travis spoke.

Travis: "Nothing, we continue with life. At the next meeting we'll see what we can do. If nothing can be done then at least I tried."

Kate: "Are you sure Travis?"

Travis: chuckling: "Yes I'm sure. No that that's taken care of, I can finally focus on Lilly and I wedding anniversary. Its in a couple of weeks."

Humphrey: "Good thing Kate and mines was last month."

Kate: "Where will you take Lilly?"

Travis: smiling: "Don't tell her, but I am going to take her and the pups to see my owner. I already set it up and in two weeks we will be relaxing, watching movies..."

Garth: "Wait what!? Why would you take her there?"

Travis: "Because I want her to meet my mother."

Garth: "That is THE stupidest thing I have ever heard."

Both Garth and Travis were now in each other faces, growling and cursing the other. Kate grab Garth by the tail and pull him away from Travis, Humphrey did the same. After ten minutes both Travis and Garth was walking toward the Eastern pack. Garth taking the lead and Travis a few feet behind.

Garth: "She is a wolf, a wild and beautiful and independent animal. Not some pet."

Travis: "My owner is not like those kind, she respect me and understand me. Last two months when I went to visit her and write to her what have happen. She told me that she would love to see Lilly and my pups."

Garth: "...She should stay here with me."

Travis: "I have grown bored of this conservation Garth. Lilly is my mate and I will take good care of her. End of discussion."

Garth growl but didn't say nothing else. The rest of the walk back was very uncomfortable. Luna saw the two and ran toward them.

Luna: "Welcome back you two, how did the meeting went?"

Travis: "Not so good I'm afraid."

Luna: "What do you mean?"

Travis: "Where is Lilly and the pups?"

Luna: "With Tony at the chill spot."

Travis: nodding: "Please go and call them all, then we will explain how the meeting went."

Luna: "Of course Travis."

Luna ran toward the chill spot to retrieve his and Garth family.

Garth: "Answer me this question if you will."

Travis: "Fire away."

Garth: "Did you and Luna used to be a thing?"

Travis entire body went stiff. Garth saw this and continue to wait for his response.

Travis: "That is a personal matter, if you want to know the history of us. Then I'm afraid you will have to ask her."

Garth: "Why can't you tell me?"

Travis: groan: "Please drop the matter Garth. Please."

Garth growled but stop asking questions. A few minutes later Luna, Lilly, Snow, Angel and Tony appear. Lilly gave Travis a kiss on his lips and nuzzle his neck. Both Snow and Angel nuzzled their dad and gave Garth a hug.

Lilly: "Welcome back you two, how did the meeting went?"

Travis: "Bad, she wanted something that neither Garth or I was will to give."

Tony: "And that would be what, exactly?"

Travis: "Um girls why don't you two go find Carlos and go play with him until it's time for dinner."

Snow & Angel: "Okay dad."

Travis watch as his daughters ran away, he waited a few more seconds before telling the others of what was requested from the meeting.

Lilly: "What!? Are you serious?"

Garth: "Yes we are."

Luna: "Why that b***h! How dare she asked to be Garth mate!"

That got all the others attention and they looked at Luna. Said wolf blushed heavily and turn her head shyly.

Tony: "Anyway...I think that both you and Garth were being childish."

Garth & Travis: "What!?"

Tony: "Yes, because I did the same thing to you Garth over three years ago."

Travis: "But uncle Tony, this is so different."

Tony: "No it's not. Both of you should have agree to her terms. If you did then we would have the very first united pack."

Travis: "You don't understand uncle, but I rather give that up any day than have my daughter unhappy."

Tony: "What make you think she wouldn't love him in the end?"

Travis: growling & yelling: "Because I f*****g know alright. And I am not like you or Winston. I am me and I will be a dad to my family rather than a f*****g leader. What I do to them will affect the family."

Tony: growling & yelling: "What you did will also affect both the Western and Eastern pack!"

Lilly: "Tony! Travis! Stop this now!"

Tony: "What the both you and Garth did was very foolish."

Garth: "Why the hell am I being blame for?"

Tony: "Because of your stupid obsession for a wolf who is already taken. Ocean is a powerful Alpha, she's beautiful and have great experience. But no, you rather wait for Lilly who clearly is in love with your cousin. Its time to f*****g move on son and get a new mate!"

Garth stare at his dad with a shocking expression. So did Lilly and Luna. Tony gave both leaders one last glare before turning around and walking away.

Travis: "Well that was something. I haven't seen him this mad since I brought Luna into the pack."

Garth: "Travis if you don't shut the hell up. Then I am going to hurt you."

Garth said with his head down, his hair covering his face. Travis was silent for a few seconds, before a small smirk appear on his face.

Travis: "I like to see you try...little wolf."

It happen so fast, it took both Lilly and Luna by great surprise. Garth headbutt Travis so hard that his head bleed instantly. Travis yelled in pain and held his now bleeding forehead. Blood running down his face and into his eyes. Garth went to bite Travis, the the latter quickly move out of his range of attack. Travis rush Garth and tackle him to the ground. Travis landed on top of Garth, but the experience Alpha quickly flipped them over.

Travis: "Get off me fatty."

Garth anger snap and so did his razor sharp teeth into Travis' left shoulder.

Travis: yelling: "Aaaahhhh!"

Travis headbutt Garth, which allow Garth to release his hold and left both wolves daze. Travis recover first and used his hind legs to kick Garth away. Garth landed on his back but quickly got to his paws. Travis was already standing and growling at his cousin. Both circle the other very slowly. After the seventh circle, Travis stop and smile at his cousin. Garth looked on at his cousin in confusion.

Garth: "What the hell are you smiling about!?"

Travis: "Do you feel better now?"

Garth stop dead in his track, and stare at his cousin with wide eyes and a open mouth. Garth does fell better, he's not really mad at his dad anymore and what he said.

Travis: "Anger is a powerful and dangerous weapon Garth. I know what uncle said wasn't true (actually it is true) but you have to understand that he was only mad."

Garth: "You think this changes anything between us?"

Travis: "Maybe."

Garth sigh and walked away, he does felt better than he had in weeks. Luna looked toward Garth then to Travis. Travis smile and nod his head and with that Luna ran toward Garth. Garth look to hisbside and saw Luna walking with him, but he didn't sent her back or stop her. The two continue their journey.

Lilly: "That was very stupid of you!"

Lilly waited until the two was out of hearing distance before yelling at her injured mate. Lilly raise her right paw in the air and slam it down on Travis' head. Said wolf yelp in pain.

Lilly: "And very grateful of you."

Lilly kissed him gently on his lips.

Travis: smiling: "Thanks, I kinda know what's he's going through. My owner would let me attack her when she know that I was really in a bad mood. Don't worry, she wear a special suit that protect her."

Lilly: "Thats good to know. Now let's get you into the den so I can lick your wounds clean."

Both Lilly and Luna offer to lick Garth and Travis injuries (Travis last attack open a small cut on Garth head). After that dinner was serve and all went to sleep. Luna in her own den, Garth in his, and Travis, Lilly, Snow and Angel.

Edge of Eastern pack

Misty, a wolf with blue fur, green eyes and the same age of Luna. Saw the whole argument and fight. She waited until it was night before sneaking into the Eastern pack. After a few dodges and turn, she reach her destination. Her night vision allow her to see her target, Tony was sound asleep.

Misty: "Too easy."

Misty only took three steps before a "sleeping" Tony jump to his paws and attack Misty. If it wasn't for her being young and an Alpha, she would have been dead. Misty quickly counter strike Tony, knocking him on his back. Misty tried to go for the older wolf neck, but Tony rolled over at the last second. Misty bit down hard on his shoulder, blood dripping down Tony's shoulder. Tony used his years of fighting experience and headbutt Misty from behind.

ny: Howling for help

Misty growled and quickly hit Tony on his head, knocking him out. Misty quickly ran out of his den, two wolves that was on patrol saw her and rush after her. Misty quickly ran toward the edge of the Eastern pack. The two wolves continue to pursue her, while two more saw the condition of Tony.

Bill: "Danm it all, hurry and get Jessica. Tell her that Tony is hurt and need healing quick."

The wolf nod and ran toward the pack healer. Bill sat down next to the still bearly alive came five minutes later and went to work on Tony.

Bill: "You three go and get Garth, Luna, Travis and Lilly."

Three wolves went to collect their pack leaders. Misty cursed under her breathe, she was able to lose the two Alphas but Tony was still alive. Misty continue her journey to the Northern pack.

Author notes: And there you have it, I am sorry it took this long but school, money loss and what not got me from last year to now. I don't know when the next chapter will be.
