“Would you please slow down!” huffed Eva as Miss Gibson practically dragged her through the streets. It didn’t take long to realize they were headed for the public library and Eva’s stomach was churning just thinking about seeing Castille in that moment. She was still feeling embarrassed and ashamed having been caught that way with Nate. Fortunately, Miss Gibson obliged, and they slowed to a casual walking pace, but Eva could tell by her pursed lips and stern expression that the older woman was not happy with her.
