Once again, Eva found herself being dragged through the halls of the old building and just rolled her eyes.
Even though the whole prophecy thing had been news to Castille, something about a man who used to be a wolf sounded familiar to him, and he needed to get to his father as quickly as possible.
“Why are you in such a hurry? What do you know?” Eva questioned as they rushed through the corridors.
“I’ve heard my father talk about a man who was once a wolf, decades ago. He is now some sort of wizard or something. Deep into magic, and always on the hunt for more power. I imagine getting his hooks into you would serve him well in that regard, and to do that he would likely need a partner.”
“A partner? Like who? There isn’t anyone in my life who would turn me over to someone like that.
