SELENE I found Kael coming out of the administrative wing, he looked like someone had just flipped a switch inside him. I stepped in front of him before he could walk past me. "Hey," I said. "You okay?" He looked at me like he was pulling himself back from somewhere far away, like his mind had been running through a hundred different scenarios and he was forcing it back to the present moment. "I am fine," he said. "You are not fine." I grabbed his hand. "Come on. We need to talk." I pulled him away from the main hallway before anyone could see us together.
