Mrs Okoro exclaimed, "Chinasa, you should be useful at your age! You're growing older every day, but you don’t have any asset to your name. You know how tough life is for this family!" Chinasa replied, "Mummy, you can't always be doing this, is it my fault things are going this way for me?, I'm trying for this family for Christ sake!" Mr Okoro said, "My daughter, I know you are trying your possible best for this family please ignore your mom." Chinasa's phone rang and she answered, "Hello, Please who am I speaking with?" "I'm blessed calling from hope spring secondary school, the school you did an interview few days back." the caller said "Oh, Mr Blessed" Chinasa said "Yes, I called to inform you that your interview was successful and we hope to see you by Monday." Mr Blessed said "Alright, thank you Sir." The call ended. Chinasa was so happy and informed her parents "Oh!, it's even a teaching job.... congratulations though." Mrs Okoro said "Mummy are you even happy for me?, mtcheew." Chinasa replied her mom rudely "Hey madam...you need to respect yourself in this house and stop behaving like a witch towards my daughter, you can basically see how hard she is trying even when we failed as a parent to give her a better life." Mr Okoro shouted at his wife "You are always siding with her, making me look like a bad person when i just want her to pressure herself so she won't end up like us." Mrs Okoro said Chinasa was so angry and left. The next day, Chinasa went to the market to get some dresses for her new job when she saw a poster with a write up saying, " a three year contract of a personal assistant needed at BLACKWOOD ENTERPRISES with a monthly payment of two million naira." Chinasa froze and screamed two million naira, she copied the number written on the poster knowing fully well the contract would change her life. After buying the dresses, Chinasa headed home to prepare for her first day at work. When Chinasa got home, her mom apologized for every hurtful word she has ever said to her and told her she was just afraid that her daughter might end up being like her. They both sorted out their issues, Chinasa told her about the poster she saw earlier and the mom told her she shouldn't bother because the job is already hers, they both laughed and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Hurray, it is Chinasa first day at work. Her parents prayed for her and told her she would succeed in her career path as a teacher. Chinasa was so happy and left the house. When she got to school, she was insulted by both teachers and students because she wasn't up to their class and she was so sad that something like this would happen on her first day at work. During break period, Chinasa called the number she copied down and a man picked up, "Good afternoon Sir, My name is Chinasa Okoro and I'm calling on behalf of the personal assistant three years contract that BLACKWOOD ENTERPRISES wants to recruit, please how can i go about it?" "Miss Chinasa Okoro, you will have to send your CV to Blackwoodenterprises@g*******m and you would be given an interview date." The man immediately said and ended the call. Chinasa immediately sent her CV to the email and went to lecture a class. The students in the class disregards her so much because of her financial status, she ignored them and did the job she came for. Chinasa taught the class so perfectly well that most of the students started liking her because of how intelligent she is. Bell rang.... "Hi guys, this is the end of our lecture today because school has closed for the day, see you all tomorrow and ensure to read because we will have a revision on today's biology tomorrow." Chinasa said "Alright Miss Chinasa." the whole class replied happily. Chinasa left the class to her office so she will pack her things and go home. On her way going home, a group of students came to her and praised her for being so intelligent. "Miss Chinasa, nobody has ever taught us the way you did and i appreciate you for that." a student said "Thank you for appreciating me, I'm so happy I taught you all the way no teacher has done for you guys." Chinasa replied They all laughed and left. "My wonderful daughter is back." Mrs Okoro said "Mummy, I was humiliated oo but thank God at the end of the day some students could appreciate me for impacting them academically." Chinasa said calmly "My daughter, don't bother...so what about that vacancy you told me about, have you contacted them?" Mrs Okoro asked "Mummy, I have contacted them and I also sent my CV to them so I'm waiting for their response." Chinasa replied "Alright my daughter, God will work it out for us and besides, I prepared a very delicious okro soup for you my love." Mrs Okoro said The whole family was eating when Chinasa phone beeped... "Ah!!!, mummy and daddy I have been selected for the interview and it will take place on Friday but I feel so nervous about it." Chinasa screamed "My daughter, don't be nervous because everything will work out for good my dear." Mr Okoro reassured Chinasa "Chinasa, your daddy is absolutely right." Mrs Okoro added Chinasa contacted the school she is working with and lied to them about being ill in order to be given a break so she would use the opportunity to attend her interview at BLACKWOOD ENTERPRISES. Hope spring gave Chinasa a one week break, Chinasa immediately used the opportunity to start preparing for the interview like her life depends on it. It's Friday already, Chinasa was so anxious but her parents calmed her down and reassured her that God won't fail her. Chinasa immediately summoned courage and started preparing to go for her interview to avoid being late. Immediately she got to BLACKWOOD ENTERPRISES, she stood at the gate and viewed the magnificent company in amazement and whispered to herself, "What a wonderful and wealthy place, the owner must be incredibly rich." Chinasa took further steps and entered into the gorgeous company. While she was walking, she heard many people murmuring about how classless she looks. She finally got to the reception and saw other candidates who came for the interview too and she was so discouraged because she was the poorest and classless among them. "Who is Chinasa Okoro?" a HR asked "I'm over here sir." Chinasa answered immediately "Come inside." the HR ordered Chinasa went inside and her eyes immediately caught Adrian Blackwood the CEO of Blackwood Enterprises. "Hey, what is a mad person doing here?" Mr Adrian asked . "I'm sorry sir, My name is Chinasa Okoro." "I didn't ask for your name you fool, Why would you come for an almighty Blackwood Enterprises interview looking so classless or can't you see how classy the others are looking?" Adrian asked "Sir, I'm sorry." Chinasa replied "Sorry for your useless and unfortunate self!" Adrian exclaimed "Sir, you don't just see an individual and insult them!" Chinasa said while tearing up "If only you know how irritating you are." Adrian replied Chinasa got angry and slapped Adrian Blackwood the Billionaire and CEO of BLACKWOOD ENTERPRISES. The whole workers and interviewers were shocked. Chinasa realized what she has done and began to apologize immediately while thinking of what her fate would be.
