The Girl In-Between

Chapter 12

Saturday morning came around fast. I had tossed and turned most of the night but no matter how much i turned to get comfortable i just couldn't. I was so excited but very nervous. Million things were going through my head.

How were they going to take to me, where they all going to accept me or not. Was i going to look ok to meet the pack. I pulled out one outfit then changed my mind right after. Mum suggest we go shopping this morning to find something new.

Which i'm glad we did. I found a silk red knee length dress. It dipped down my back showing it off so i couldn't wear a bra so i'd have to wear a cardigan covering it up so it was little modest to meet the pack but when i was going to be alone with Ollie i could take it off and reveal some exposed skin.

It was around 4pm and the b&q was at 7pm. It was little while before having to leave. I had started to get ready. It takes time to look perfect although i didn't need that much time to look good and i really didn't wanna go over the top with it either.

I slipped into a shower and washed my body down, scrub my hair clean before stepping out. Once i had dried myself off i slipped on my dress and started applying some make-up lightly dried my hair so i had my natural waves. After i slipped on some black wedged heels and grabbed my purse from my bed before heading down stairs.

My brother, Maya were in the living room waiting for me and my parents were still upstairs getting ready. Mum was taking longer for god knows what reason. I swear i get my jeans for her, having to look right before leaving to go anywhere.

Austin and Maya were in a deep make-out section when mum and dad family stepped down the stairs. I rolled my eyes, i just wanted to get out of here and been there already.

"Come then let's go" Dad said grabbing the keys from the kitchen table. how to tell my parents i wasn't going to show up in their van, I was going to drive myself there.

"Kacey" I turned to my mum.

"Yes"

"Where are you going"

"My car?"

"Your not driving to this party, get in the van"

"No way, Austin is driving his car"

"No he won't. I'm not having my kids drinking and driving after" guess that's us told. 

"Uh"Austin perked up as he was about to open his door.

"All three of you in the van now" My mum raised her voice.

We all sighed and slowly got into the van. Everyone is so going to make fun of us i can see it now. I just hope they park in the further spot so we three could slip out without anyone seeing us.

Pulling up in front of the pack house in the closest parking space to the house. It was so busy and very tight to park also. How were we might to sneak out now. There were people everywhere and they were all looking our way.

Then my eyes landing on dark headed beauty walking this way. His deep blue piercing eyes capturing me within them. He look handsome also, dark blue shirt button up but i could tell he was ripped under then moving down he had dark stain wash jeans and timberland boots on giving him one sexy look. His hair was gelled back like always.

"Hey beautiful" He said coming over and giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey yourself" felt my cheeks redden.

He nodded to my parents then Austin and Maya whom casual walk ahead of us. Once people noticed that i was Ollie's mate they started to great me as their Luna. My parents followed us through the house and out to the garden. There was music playing and loads of chatter. The garden was over crowded but i knew it would have been with the size of this pack.

"Hey there you must be Kacey, wow aren't you a site" I heard a chirpy lady say coming towards us.

"Oh i'm sorry, I'm Ollie's mum and this is his father" She point to the man next to her.

"Hi" I replied very quietly but i knew they heard me. I could feel my nerves kicking in a little more.

I shook their hands and they then greeted my parents. I followed Ollie towards the stage that i seen yesterday, he had my hand in a tight grip pulling me forward.

My parents sat of to the side with his parents whom all seemed very deep in conversation until we all heard a clearing of the throat.

"May i have your attention please" I stood next Ollie as his Alpha tone came out loud and strong i nearly fell over from the authority behind it but lucky he had a good grip on my waist holding me up right.

"I would like you all to welcome Kacey and her parents to our pack. They have just moved here last week to be closer to their son Austin our beta" Whom i had now noticed standing behind us. He stepped forward to wave his hand to the crowd and my parents stood to show who they were also.

"I would like to welcome Lisa and Tam on stage" My parents stood up and walked up the steps to the stage taking over the mic from Ollie.

"Thank you everyone for letting us join your pack, we are extremely grateful." My mum spoke first now my dad.

"The reason we ask to speak in front of you all is because we wanted to surprise our kids" They turned to us as we both stepped forward towards them.

"Kids.. We are happy that you both have now found your mates. Me and your mum just wanted to let you both know that we shall no longer travel the world. Alpha Hudson as agree to let us join the pack and settle down here with you kids and so we can be one big happy family again."

I must have started crying without realising. Ollie's arms were around me within seconds. Austin hugged my parents and then took me from Ollie giving me a huge hug as well. Once he put me down i gave mum and dad a hug while still having tears running down my face.

This is what i've always wanted. Finally my parents are settling down, Finally i can call this place home. It felt to good to be true. So once i stepped back towards Ollie, he put his arm around me keeping me close once again.

My tears were tears of happiness. I was over the moon that they were staying here to. Means they get to watch us grow up and build our own family to.

Once the speeches were over we came of the stage and i was greeted with more people welcoming me. I was overwhelmed. Emotions running high, i needed to give me self a little bit of room and catch my breath. So i snuck inside and wander around until i came to Ollie's office. I didn't bother going up stairs i wanted to stay close by in case i was needed.

I just needed a few minutes to progress everything through.

'Knock Knock'

My headshot to the door as it opened. Ollie head appeared looking over at me. I gave him a soft smile as he came in closing the door behind him.

"Why are you hiding?" He asked

"Sorry, I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed" I explain.

"Ah i thought it might have been. This is one reason we didn't tell you sooner because your parents knew how much it meant to you" He gave me a side hug pulling me in closer to him as we looked at the window together. I snuck my arms around the back off him. 

"Thanks" I say taking in a deep breath.

I rested my head on his shoulder and we sat there a while longer before i was ready to go back outside. I was nice to escape a little bit to get some fresh air to ourselves.

On the way back out i noticed people dancing and drinking. I couldn't see my parents nor Austin from the crowd. So i kept hold of Ollie's hand tightly as we squeeze through. Not that there was much squeezing people moved out the way for us to past.

The night was such a blast and everyone was having fun. Ollie and me left the party and wandering off.

He took me up the stairs and past his room. There was another set of stairs which i had never noticed before but i guess right away where the lead to. There was a tower on the right side of the house. I always saw it but never thought you could get up there.

We got to the door, Ollie pushed it open. The room was wide enough to have a bed up here which he did. The ceiling was tower shape and the windows were huge. It was dark out and you could see all the stars.

We laid down and he place his arms around me as we stared out the window. It was such a lovely evening. I must have been so tired before my eyelids were getting heavy and slowly darkness took over me.
