The Girl In-Between

Chapter 13

I woke up to realizing I wasn't in my own bed. This bed was much more comfortable than my own, I could feel my body stinking deeper into the foam mattress. I let my eyes blink a few times to adjust to the brightness streaming through the curtains welcoming a new day.

Once I could see probably I knew where I was. I turned to see a sleeping beauty whom started to tighten his grip around me, bringing me in closer if that was even possible. I inhale his sweet, sweet scent while looking at every detail of his face, I eyed every detail carefully from his strong jaw line to his perfect lips those lips that would feel perfect against my own. I watched as he breathed in and out. I knew I had this creepy smile on my face but I just couldn't help myself. He was perfect, this was perfect and my family were staying here it was all perfect.

Then it all came back to me about last night. My parents were going to settle down here and join Ollie's pack the pack that I'm Luna of and my brother is Beta off. It felt so unreal, my stomach was in knots over the unbelievable feeling.

I felt Ollie move and his eyes started to twitch. He must be waking up 'perfect timing' i thought. I can jump out of bed and find a toilet. As his arm moved around my stomach the pressure got heavier and heavier man he had some strength on him i felt like i was going to burst at any giving second.

"Ollie" I whispered giving him little shove.

"Ollie" I shoved harder.

"Mmm"

"I need to pee" I squeal shoving him harder so his arm would let me become free and sprinting out of bed over to the open door and finding the toilet hiding in there.

I sat a little longer looking down to see i wasn't in my dress no more but from what i see i think it's one of Ollie's tops it smelt like him so it must be his. I was sitting just below my butt covering my underwear which was just good. I be little uncomfortable showing all my bits of. Although saying that he must have changed me.

I stepped back out after doing my business Ollie was sitting up in the bed with his hands behind his head flexing out those buff arms of his, he was watching my every move.

"Did you change me?" I asked pinching to the top i had on.

"Yeah, i thought you'd be little more comfortable than wearing your dress". His eyes widen as if he was remembering und-dressing me.

He had a point but he seen me in my underwear before i was ready. I felt a tad embarrassed and my cheeks flushed red i could tell when the heat hit them. I walked back over to the bed and slipped back in pulling the cover right over me.

"What's wrong?" He asked concerned.

"Nothing...Well-it's just I'm not to comfortable with showing you my body yet" I said muttering into the cover that i grasped so tightly trying to hiding my embarrassed smile and my face flushed more.

"Why not, your beautiful and your mines. You have nothing to be ashamed off" He told me as he wrapped his arm around me pulling me in closer to him.

"I know but you're my first boyfriend, well in fact you still haven't even asked me yet but that's not the point. I've never been with another guy before" I pointed out making sure he took my hint about asking me out as his 'girlfriend'.

"Oh i see, well i do hope you can learn to be comfortable with me as i am yours Kacey i technical don't have to ask you seeing as we are meant for each other" He winks squeezing me tighter.

"Is that your way of saying i'm already your girlfriend?" i raise an eyebrow at him then smile.

" I suppose it is, now come on let's get breakfast" He took my hand and helped out back out of bed.

"Wait" I said pausing me in my tracks.

"Uh...Put these on" He handed me a pair of shorts.

"Oh thanks" At least he remember that his top didn't cover me all to well down below.

I slipped on the short which came to my knees. He retook me hand then was headed down stairs. As we got closer to the kitchen i could hear voices. Turning the corner there was Mason, Indie, Spence, Austin and Maya. They all turned and gave us both a nod and turn back to chatting.

"Morning" I said taking up a seat next to Austin.

"What would you like?" Ollie asked me.

"What do you have?" i asked.

I never stayed over here before so i had no idea what they ate for breakie speaking of that i turn to look at my brother.

"Why are you and Maya here i thought you both moved back home" He knew what i meant. They had both moved into my parents house.

"Ah, we had a late one and stayed here"

"Oh is that why i heard all those funky noises last night" I teased.

"Haha your funny" He laughed but everyone else gave me a 'What's that about look'.

"They both are like it rabbits back home" I explain and Austin hit my arm as Maya face flush red. Everyone started to laughed once they got it.

"Bacon and eggs?" Ollie perked up after scanning the fridge.

"Sure" I replied smiling turning to look at him.

I watched him pull out a pan then some eggs and bacon. They way he was in the kitchen was like he was in another place. He moved with such a flow and grace.

Been lost in my thoughts while watching Ollie cooking away i was pretty zoned out when i realized he was done and the plate was in front of me. I picked up my fork and took a piece of the egg, oh my this taste so good I could never make eggs taste like this.

"Yum" I licked my lips and everyone laughed.

"He cooks like his mum" Austin said.

"His mum or our mum?" I had to ask as i've not tasted his mum's cooking only mines.

"Ours" Austin shaked his head. But i hadn't quite heard him.

Once i was done Ollie took my plate and placed it on top of his then into the dishwasher then returning to join me at the table.

"Alpha when is the pack meeting?" Spence asked.

Oh i nearly forgot all about that. They were going to discuss how to get rid of these rogues and keep me safe blah blah . This would be my first pack meeting here and i wasn't sure what to except.

"Say 7pm remember Layton's pack will be joining us so we're having to go down to the hall to hold it" In hall was base within the actual pack house. Further down the road. We passed it a few times on the way over here.

"Yes i remember" With that spence and Indie left.

"We'll will go help set up" Austin said before him and Maya left.

"What is there to set up?" I asked surely it's only chairs right.

"Well both packs are going to be in the one room. So there will be alot more seats needed plus refreshments for after. It's going to be pretty crammed in there too"

"Oh refreshment uh, didn't do that in our old pack" I muttered "Well i should be very grateful for being here in this pack at least I can say it been run the right way" i chuckled.

"What do you mean?" He asked looking at me concern and confused.

"Our alpha started to go down hill after losing his mate. The whole pack fell apart and we left to put our safety first" I told him.

"Oh i see, i think i recall something about this few years back. Rogues found out and the pack was destroyed some of the pack managed to escape and joined another pack. But a lot of them were killed" He closes his eyes briefly before re-opening them.

Wow that was interesting but the thought of some of the pack lost their lives shocked me. We were now sitting on the couch and i realized that I've not been home yet. I needed to get fresh clothes.

"Ollie i need to go home and changed my clothes. I can't wear yours all day" I said changing the subject.

"I like you in my stuff. But i guess i can drive you home" He said as we both got off the couch.

"Wait, i need to go and put my dress back on and grab my purse"

"Keep what you have on, i put your dress in the wash and your purse is on the side table near the bed" I sighed but ran up to get my purse anyways.

When i returned Ollie was already standing by the front door with the car keys in his hand spinning the loop on his fingers when he noticed me he smiled and opens the door. I stepped out in front of him knowing he was inhaling my sweet scent as i passed.

I walk casually over to his car and wait for him to press the button so i can open the door. Once inside i plug my belt in with a 'click'. He turns on the radio and does his own belt before starting the engine up. It roared to life as we pulled away from the curb.
