The Girl In-Between

Chapter 14

Pulling up outside my parents house within minutes after leaving the pack house. We didn't get far because my brother and Maya wanted a lift home too. Ollie came to a steady stop before we all exited the car. Ollie put out his hand for me to take and i took it with a huge smile reaching  both ears while i ever get over just how much he makes me feel. The air smelt like fresh cut grass and blooming flowers you could tell spring was settling in.

We reached the front door and i clasped the handle turning it to open the door. The smell pancakes filled the room when we enter. Can you tell we love pancakes, i felt a little pang in my stomach thinking they had some without me i love them just as much. I always remember me and Austin as kids waking up to the smell, it definitely got us out of bed.

"Mum, Dad" i called out but nothing so i called again.

"Mum, dad" There seemed to be some shuffling noise coming from upstairs.

So i decide to check out what it was and Ollie was right on my heels not letting me go myself and Austin and Maya followed . If there was someone who wasn't meant to be here then surely we'd have sniffed them out already but there wasn't.

"Mum" I called again creeping onto the landing.

"Just a second dear" She finally replied. Austin sighed as if relieve hearing they are ok then headed to his own room with Maya pulling her along.

I got to my parents bedroom and pushed it open gently. Dad wasn't in the room and mum was picking up few clothes and there was a tray with dishes on it. I think someone had breakfast in bed 'woo'. Then my dad walks out there ensuite with a towel rustling his hair dry.

"Oh hello honey, Ollie" Dad hugged me and nodded to Ollie.

"Hey, i'm just picking up some spare clothes " I said grinning then leaving them both to whatever they were doing. Rolling my eyes on the way out their room. I grab Ollie's hand pulling him to my room. I turn my head sideways looking back at him offering a soft smile, shrugging i turned to open the door. I feel like a little girl and flushing like a crazy kid. Is this what is meant to feeling like when you find you mate. I feel so giddy and my stomach feels like there is a billion butterflies in there.

"You can have a seat while i grab some things" pointing over to the computer chair "Oh yeah i'll need to bring my laptop as well, if that's ok?" not sure why i'm asking him but it's the only way i can stay in touch with my friends so if i was spending a lot of time at his i may as well take it with me.

"Ah- why do you need to bring that?" He raises his eyebrow narrowing his eyes on me.

"I have made friends everywhere i've been, it's how we stay in touch and if i'm going to be over at yours a lot then i'm going to need it" I walk over to my laptop and turn it on "here i'll show you".

I open on the browser and type in f*******: then sign in.

"Jeez you have a lot of friends" His eyes were wide of shock but he was right i did have a lot of friends in total i couldn't give you a number but from what is saying on f*******: there was 430 and that not counting that people I've met here.

"Yup i like to stay in touch with them all i hope you don't mind?"

"As long as they ain't guys then it's ok" I frowned really is he going to be so possessive now.

"I do have guys friends but your welcome to perv on my profile as much as you like it's not like i'd hide anything from you" I wouldn't but there is things i'd rather keep private than share everything with him.

"Give me your details so i can keep an eye on it myself" he grunted a smile.

"No way!, i'm not giving you out my information if you must snoop then do what other people do and check out my profile every day like stalkers does." I muttered turning my laptop back of,closing and unplugging it then taking it with me into the closest while i hunted for clothes to take with me.

" Don't you trust me with it now" I could hear the amusement in his voice.

"No" I called back out "You'd take everyone of my guy friends off, of course i don't trust you with it" I'm not stupid but i know when my friends got with their mates they would go loopy over things like that and i promised myself i'd never let my mate control me like that. Id never do that to him, make him give up his girl mates.

"I would do no such thing" Yeah i could tell he was lying but the way he said that his voice sounded normal then he started snickering like he was planning something.

"Yeah you would Ollie" I stuck my head out the door as my body stayed behind it " I'm not stupid you know" Screwing my eyes at him and he rolled his back me getting of the chair at the desk.

"I would not. I'd just be noisy to see what you talk about you know so i don't need to go and kill them or anything" His voice getting tighter and strained.

"Ollie, see this is why i wouldn't let you have my laptop" I turned away from him and pulling some jeans and tops and tossed them into a gym bag i had in the corner.

He pulls me back stopping me from packing somethings away. His arms around my waist as he sniffs my hair by my neck. His breathing was steady as he sighs.

"I'm not arguing with you about this i guess we'll agree to disagree on this one but just so you know i wont be happy about you talking to other guys especially ones i don't know". He tightened his grip just a lighty kissing my hair.

"I could say the same about you and girls that i don't know to but i'm not stopping you being friends with anyone" I let myself sinking into his chest for a few seconds before turning around and kissing his lips with a gently brush.

"Now if you don't mind i need to get this bag pack so i have clothes at your house and so i don't need to sneak out everything to come home and get dressed" He gives me another soft kiss back and lets me go.

I get some under wear and some bra's into the bag before stepping out of my closet. I had some toiletries in and a brush too.

"Ok done" I said grabbing my bag and my laptop which i place into the laptop bag.

"I'll take this for you" He saying grabbing the gym bag knowing fine well i won't let him touch my laptop.

We head back down stairs and my parents are in the kitchen. Mum is washing the dishes from breakfast as dad sitting at the table drinking some coffee and reading the news paper.

"That's me packed few bits for Ollie's" Getting their attention as we walk in.

"Oh honey we won't be mad if you decided to move in with him you know" I get mums hint but dad narrows his eyes at her.

"Mum don't get his hopes up, you know what men are like" My dad raises his head from his newspaper and Ollie's steps to my side.

"Say what?" Ollie asks.

"I'm kidding lets go before they scooped us into doing something else" This time mum raises an eyebrow at me and i smiled in return pulling Ollie in the direction of the front door.

Once we are outside I slip one hand around Ollie neck and the other carefully into his back pocket sneaking out the keys for my car, he doesn't notice because we have locked eye's and I'm giving him this smile that makes him go all mushy and putty in my hands. I moved in closer so my lips are almost touching his but not quite and I successfully pull out the keys and dash off once his eyes are closed and his lips were almost touching mines. He doesn't click until i'm in the driving seat with my eyes full of excitement, all wide eyed he turns around and i'm in fits of giggles laughing at him.

He shakes his head does this little random run over to the car. As his hand goes for the door i edge the car forward then stop for him to catch up, Once he gets to the door again i let him in still grinning like an i***t.

"Your evil" He tells me putting his seat belt in.

"But i'm your little evil" I wink at him.

He grins back shaking his head and turns to look out the window as i start up the car again and pull away from the curb. I take another route back to the Ollie's. Austin showed me this road one day last week going to school. It's longer but it's worth the view.

There is really a lot of trees around here. I think there is more trees than houses well that is until you reaching the main section of this town were the school is.

"Do you like this route?" Ollie asked snapping me out my thoughts.

"Yeah, Austin showed me this way last week i love the view and driving through country roads when we were traveling always thrilled me for some odd reason" I gave him a quick glance before setting my eyes back to the main road.

"So you like the countryside then?" I nodded.

"Mmm" I glance at him quickly to see him smirking. The planning smirk.

"What are you planning Mr?"

"That's for me to know." He winked at me with that mischievous smile.

I pull up outside the Ollie's and turn off the car. I grabbed my laptop bag from the boot and Ollie takes my other bag of clothes. Strolling up the path i could see some of the pack training on the grass. My lips twitched into a smile thinking of just how lucky i am to be apart of such a great pack and to be their Luna makes it all worthwhile watching over them. although i find it weird the train up here while the pack house is a little further down the road.

Ollie opens the front door but my eyes are still on those training. I stopped for a few seconds to watch and i noticed that it's Mason who's training them along with Spence.

"Hey are you coming or are you going to stand and gawk at them all day?" Ollie sounding little piss.

"I'm coming" I called out to him.

I turn on my step and follow him inside. We take my things up to his room and i place my laptop in his closet. I just have to be sure he won't go on it i must remember to put a password on it to login on so he'll never get into it unless there's someone in this pack who's a hacker then i'm buggered.

"So what now?" I asked since it now 12am we've been to mines picked up clothes and my laptop and then returned back. I knew tomorrow we'd be back at school but i didn't wanna think about school just now and with the pack meaning at 7 tonight i wanted to filled in a few hours doing something.

"What would you like to do?"

"Go for a run and let our wolves out?" I knew this could go either way. He could say yes or he could say no because of the Rogues that are close by.

"I suppose but we better have back up with us incase we need to fight"

"Ok" I grinned grabbing a spare bag for my clothes when i strip.

"You can shift here before going out you know"

"Really, means walking back in while in wolf form to"

"That's ok" He shrugged like it was no big deal.

"But i'll get your floor dirty"

"We'll get it cleaned"

"Oh ok then" I shrugged then shifted.
