“Christian everything okay? Where are you?” Evaleen asked him panicking; before she could hear his response she heard growls around her. The pungent smell of rotten eggs was strong than ever.
“They are here!” Celestina braced herself; Evaleen was frozen in her place.
“Sh*t, the guards I sent them to the border. Nobody is outside. Evaleen stays inside, I will take care of it. Don’t let anyone leave this room.” Celestina’s voice was almost a growl. Evaleen saw a very different side of Celestina, who was ready to take down anyone threatening her people. After Celestina left, the growls increased and the for a second rogues backed away hiding away.
“We need to help Luna, we can’t stay here quietly,” Carter said and many pack members, vampires, and witches agreed.
