Moriah sighs filled the other side of the line. "So what are you going to do, goody-two-shoes? Quit? I can't imagine you staying around now. Not with all the "shame" hanging over you and everything."
I sighed. Moriah may have been my oldest friend, but she really knew very little about me. "I apologized. It wasn't supposed to happen, and he apologized; and hopefully it will all blow over soon." I was raking my fingers through my hair, the phone captured between my neck and shoulder.
