I had the boys up, dinner made, and laundry done for the day. The boys looked presentable and clean, but I looked a hot mess. I wondered if I should've changed before coming down, but it was too late now. I made the boys their plates of mashed potatoes, corn and cut up beef steak when I heard the doors open. Waiting for Ashley and the farmhands to come pouring in, I made my own plate, plopping down on the bench beside Mav.
