Andre was star struck by the beauty standing in front of him

so much that he didn't even know she was talking to him.

"HELLOOO...HOW CAN I HELP YOU?" He blinked twice before muttering "EXCUSE ME" Quietly.

"YES, HOW CAN I HELP YOU?" She asked him again with a polite smile.

Andre blushed when he realized she'd caught him checking her out shamelessly.

"UM...HELLO, IS AMARA HOME?" He groand internally when the words came out more like stuttering.

"NOT THE TIME FOR STUTTERING MAN, GET A GRIP!" He chided himself before the young lady replied saying "NO, SHE STEPPED OUT ABOUT A MINUTE AGO" Damn you Amara, must you be out today of all days?

"DO YOU KNOW WHERE SHE WENT OR WHEN SHE'LL BE BACK?" Andre asked while licking his lips that has suddenly gone dry.

"I DON'T KNOW WHERE SHE WENT BUT I DO KNOW SHE'LL BE BACK SOON. AND YOU CAN WAIT FOR HER, THAT'S IF YOU DON'T MIND...+"

"I'LL WAIT!" He replied cutting her off before she could finish her sentence and she looked at him weirdly before letting him into the house.

He sat down on one of Amara's beanbag as he continued staring at the young lady, this made her uncomfortable to the point where she excused herself and went outside and sat on the corridor.

Andre felt really stupid when he figured she left because of him and groand internally while pulling his hair roughly. That has become his thing lately, pulling his hair that is. Any time he's frustrated or confused he'd find himself pulling his hair trying to come up with a solution. He's afraid he won't have any hair left on his head before he clocks thirty.

Andre went out and sat down by her side after asking her if it was okay of course.

"I AM SORRY ABOUT THAT BACK THERE, I DIDNT MEAN TO MAKE YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE IN YOUR OWN HOUSE"

"I WON'T LIE, THAT WAS REALLY INTENSE BACK THERE" She replied and Andre cringed. Man, he's really screwed this up hasn't he?

"MAN, I'M REALLY SORRY FOR STARING AT YOU LIKE THAT, I DIDN'T MEAN ANYTHING BAD BY IT THOUGH" He tried to reassure her.

"REALLY?" She asked him with a smile. Damn that smile will be the death of him.

"YEAH, I PROMISE"

"OKAYYY... COOL BUT DO ME A FAVOR AND DON'T GO STARING AT SOMEONE YOU'RE JUST MEETING FOR THE FIRST TIME LIKE THAT AGAIN OKAY?" Andre Chuckled before saying.

"YES MA'AM" She smiled at him after hearing his words.

"I DON'T THINK I HAVE SEEN YOU AROUND HERE BEFORE. SO, I'M GUESSING YOU'RE NEW?" Andre said after some time and the young lady didn't say a word rather she just nodded her head.

Andre figured she might still be skeptical about who he was so he stood up and stretched his hand to her saying "I AM ANDRE BY THE WAY, NICE TO MEET YOU" She looked at him for a while before shaking his hand.

"I AM NATASHA, THE PLEASURE IS ALL MINE" 'Well, i don't think i ruined it completely, right?' Andre said to himself.

Gradually Andre and Natasha began to chat as they wait for Amara. He told some jokes some of which was about their school and it made her laugh, a lot. It was just as if Stacey never existed at this point.

They were still chatting when Amara walked into the compound and she shouted when she saw him. Its obvious she missed her best friend as she hugged him before saying "ANDRE LOOK AT YOU, YOU'VE CHANGED A LOT. DID YOU ADD WEIGHT DURING THE HOLIDAY OR YOU WORKED OUT DURING THE HOLIDAY?"Andre felt weird about answering her question because he really was trying to pull the cool dude vibe.

Amara noticed it and laughed saying"NO NEED TO ANSWER, I KNOW MY NIGGA AND MY NIGGA KNOWS ME"

"NATASHA MEET MY BEST FRIEND, ANDRE. ANDRE, MEET MY ROOMMATE NATASHA" Both of them (Andre and Natasha) just smiled at each other deciding it will be best to keep what happened between them earlier a secret and this made Amara suspicious somehow.

"ANDRE, WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN TELLING NATASHA BEHIND MY BACK?" She asked and gave him a soft punch on his shoulder.

Andre laughed and said to her "NOTHING REALLY" Not that She'll believe him or anything but who cares?

"WELL, I HAVE TO TAKE MY LEAVE NOW" He added after a while.

"REALLY? I JUST GOT BACK" Amara said.

"YEAH, I JUST GOT INTO TOWN NOT LONG SO AND I AM SO TIRED.I NEED REST." Amara tried protesting as he said "PLEASE COME SEE ME OFF, I AM TIRED. I REALLY DO NEED SOME SLEEP"

Amara said "OKAY, HOLD ON LET ME GO DROP THE STUFF I BOUGHT INSIDE"

"GUESS I'LL BE SEEING YOU AROUND THEN YEAH?" Andre said to Natasha when Amara went inside, Natasha smiled and nodded.

Andre then waved a quick goodbye to her saying "GOODNIGHT DEAR" as he left with Amara.

When he got outside the compound, he said to Amara"YOOO, YOUR ROOMMATE IS HOT DUDE! I THINK I MIGHT LIKE HER. HOOK ME UP NOW"

"ABSOLUTELY NOT! NO WAYYYYY...MY BEST FRIEND CAN'T DATE MY ROOMMATE,THAT WILL BE VERY AWKWARD FOR ME"

Andre laughed saying "IT WON'T BE, TRUST ME"

"NOPE!" She said with her arm's crossed.

"C'MON, WON'T YOU THINK ABOUT IT?" He tried pleading with her.

Amara laughed and rubbed his head while saying "I REALLY MISSED YOU MY DUDE" Really, that's how she wanna play this?

"CHANGE THE TOPIC ALRIGHT?" Amara laughed knowing she'd been caught in the act.

"I MISSED YOU TOO" Andre said with an eye roll as he hugged Amara and headed home.

When he got home he took his bath and decided to check his phone which had been on silent mode the whole time. While he unlocked the phone, he noticed he had 3 missed call from Stacey.

"OH NO, HOW DID I FORGET ABOUT STACEY?" He said out loud while pacing back and forth.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ANDRE?" He scold himself before dialing Stacy's number but she hung up each time the phone rang.

He went online and saw a text from her saying "YOU SAID THAT YOU COULDN'T FORGET ME BECAUSE YOU HAD A DOZEN OF MY PICTURES ON YOUR PHONE AND I BELIEVED YOU. IT'S NOT EVEN UP TO 24 HOURS SINCE YOU LEFT YET I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN FORGOTTEN" Andre took a deep breath as he continued reading.

"I TRIED YOUR LINE THREE TIMES AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN PICK ONCE OR LEAVE A MESSAGE TO LET ME KNOW THAT YOU'LL CAL ME BACK." s**t I'd be pissed too if i was her.

"I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF YOU'RE OKAY, INFACT I JUST WANTED TO HEAR FROM YOU BECAUSE I MISSED YOU BUT IT SEEMS LIKE YOU ARE TOO BUSY FOR ME. ANYWAYS, SORRY FOR BUGGING YOU. HAVE A WONDERFUL NIGHT REST DEAR"

Andre fell flat on his bed and buried his head inside his pillow shouting and calling himself all sorts of names. He kept dialing Stacey's line but each time he tried, she kept hanging up on him and at one point she even switched off her phone. Andre slept that night feeling sad.

He woke up the next morning and decided to send a message to her as he typed, "THERE IS A SAYING THAT STATES THAT ' JOY COMES IN THE MORNING.' IT'S 7:AM STACEY BUT I AM STILL SAD BECAUSE I LET MY FAVORITE LADY DOWN YESTERDAY. MY PHONE MUST'VE ACCIDENTALLY SLIPPED INTO A SILENT MODE, THAT WAS WHY I MISSED YOUR CALLS ALL THOSE TIME ALRIGHT? I'M NOT TRYNNA CREATE EXCUSES FOR MY ACTIONS LAST NIGHT STACEY BUT BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THIS, I AM DEEPLY SORRY IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN. I MISS YOUR SWEET VOICE LIKE WHEN YOU LAUG AT MY JOKES. PLEASE FORGIVE ME, I LOVE YOU."he sent the message and went offline.

It wasn't up to 10 minutes when Stacey called and Andre picked the call immediately saying "I AM SORRY BABE IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN, I WAS FOOLISH TO LET MY PHONE SLIP INTO SILENT MODE.." he was still talking when Stacey said to him"I AM SORRY ALSO AND I LOVE YOU TOO"

Andre went mute for a second before saying"I DIDNT HEAR THAT PLEASE COME AGAIN" Stacey laughed and said "NO WAY, YOU HEARD ME. I AINT SAYING IT AGAIN" Andre chuckled saying "THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME YOU ACTUALLY SAID THAT TO ME STACEY AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HAPPY I AM TO HEAR THAT"

Stacey replied saying "I AM GLAD YOU ARE SMILING. I HAD A ROUGH NIGHT TOO HANGING YOUR CALLS AND THAT MADE ME REALIZED HOW IMPORTANT YOU ARE TO ME."

Andre replied saying "SO, DOES THAT MEAN THAT WE ARE DATING NOW?"Stacey replied saying "NO.YOU DIDNT ASK ME OUT DID YOU?"

Andre replied in a rush saying"WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND?"

"WHERE ARE YOUR MANNERS ANDRE? WAIT TILL WE MEET, THEN YOU CAN ASK ME OUT PROPERLY" She said this and bursted into laughter.

She asked him to come online before hanging up. Andre immediately joined her online as a video call request came in. That was the first time he was actually going to see her face as they chatted and this made him delay a bit before picking up the call. He had to comb his hair, do like three push ups before picking up the call because he wanted her to see that he was working out.

He picked up the call and he was short of words to say. She had just woken up from bed ,even at her natural state she was still beautiful. He walked around his room holding up his phone because he wanted her to have a good view of his almost one pack.

He was expecting her to complement his body as they had the video chat but she didn't. When they ended the video call, he wanted to go take his bath when Stacey sent a message saying"I LOVE YOUR CHEST AND THE ALMOST ONE PACK THOUGH.YOU LOOKED LIKE A FULL SNACK"this made Andre dance a little before going to take his bath.

He took his bath and sent Stacey a voice note saying that he was going for lectures but he would chat her up after the class. On his way to school he decided to stop at Amara's house so that they could go together.

As he got there he knocked on the door and Natasha her roommate was the one that opened the door and gave him a welcoming smile but Andre became speechless, he'd completely forgotten he met Natasha the previous night.

He was still stucked in his head when Natasha said to him"ARE YOU COMING IN?"

"SORRY ABOUT THAT"He replied as he walked in and sat down.

He waited as Amara took her bath, he could hear her shouting his name saying "ANDRE I GOT SOME GIST FOR YOU, BUT YOU'LL HAVE TO BUY ME BREAKFAST FIRST AFTER THE LECTURES BEFORE I TELL YOU"

He laughed fully aware of how she behave when it comes to spilling the tea "I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVE TO BRIBE MY OWN BEST FRIEND FOR INFO" He muttered under his breath but Natasha must have heard it somehow because she laughed.

"She has a beautiful smile" Andre thought with a smile.

He was still lost in Natasha's beautiful face when a message from Stacey popped up his phone saying.

"I LOVE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY"

He read the message and looked at Natasha who was smiling at him and said to himself "DAMM. I'M SUPER f****d".
