"What is going on here?!". I yelled.
And that made the men that surrounded my grandfather turned, and looked at me hard.
"Young lady, you better mind your own business, and stay out of this!". One of the men in suits yelled back at me.
"This is my own business, that is my grandfather you are are holding up there! And you better let him go now or I'll call the police!". I yelled back at the man who spoke to me.
"Your grandfather?! Well, I never knew the old man had a granddaughter this beautiful and bold". The one who looked to be their leader said, calmly, smiling in a sinister way.
"Keisha, stay out of this. I can handle it". My grandfather said to me.
He was trying to make me get away, and not behold such a scene probably.
"No grandpa, you cannot handle this. You are already on your knees and I will not let them have you do that!". I was determined to defend the only family member death had left me.
"Oh well tigress, your grandpa here owe me money! And I have come to take back what is owed me". The leader said, and brought out an envelop that contained a signed paper, and threw it at me.
Helplessly, I picked up the envelop, opened it and I saw on the paper, a written agreement of a loan of $500 million dollars.
I almost fainted.
I gripped my chest, and instantly began to gasps for air.
My grandfather's countenance fell, and I saw him look down in shame.
I blinked helplessly at the paper, and the letters almost seemed to squirmed around like a snake as I stared at the paper.
Five hundred million dollars!
I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing.
I looked up, and looked at the mean men surrounding grandpa.
They didn't look like people who could engage in a flowery business with a common flower gardener like grandpa.
And, 500 million dollars?
How could grandpa owe these people this huge amount of money?
What business transpired between them?.
All this I wondered in my mind, as I looked at the men.
They were all in black, and driving a fleet of black fanciful cars.
What manner of men loved black color so much like this?
Mafians?!
No! This must be a mistake.
It wasn't possible for my grandfather to get involved with this kind of people, I wasn't going to believe this men and anything they had said.
"Five hundred million dollars! Do you know what you are saying? Look at this place, does it look like an old man living in this kind of a place could see such an amount of money, let alone owe you that?!". I regained my voice again, and replied the man who had thrown the envelop at me.
"Hey old man, did you hear that? Why not go ahead and answer her; does it look like you could afford to owe such amount of money?! The leader of the group said to my grandfather.
I turned my gaze focused on my grandfather, and saw that he had a similar expression on his face as I had.
My grandfather's silence seemed to infuriate the leader of the gang as he ordered half of his men to beat up my grandfather, and the other half to come for me.
"Hey you, get her!". He ordered, and the men moved immediately towards my direction.
"What are you trying to do?!". I asked, moving back step by step slowly as the men approached me.
Before I knew it they grabbed me, lifted me up and carried me towards the car.
I screamed and kicked helplessly into the air. But that was all I could do.
Then I saw my grandfather fall to the ground, and collapse.
I screamed and called out to grandpa, but he did not move.
"Let me go! Let me go!! Let me go!!!". I screamed, but they didn't not leave me.
Nor did anybody come for me and my grandfather's help.
"I have to see my grandfather!!" I yelled and kicked; pushing the men holding me with all my might.
But it all seemed like I was pushing a brick wall to give way.
They had already carried me to the car, and shoved me inside the car like a bag of laundry.
"Let me out of here, I must check on my grandpa!". I was still stubbornly kicking against them.
"Hey you, you better be calm or we will be forced to beat you up!". One of the men threatened me.
But I wasn't ready to give in to their threats.
I had lost my parents and everything I ever had, I wasn't ready to stay calm and watch my only remaining relative die.
"Grandpa please wake up!". I was still screaming, and banging on the car door.
I tried to unlock the car and run to my grandfather, but the car was in a central lock.
Hot tears ran down my cheeks as it dawned on me that I had been trapped and there was nothing I could do.
Two of the men entered the car, with a rope and a tape each in hand.
They wanted to shut me up, and stop me from screaming for help.
I decided not to let them, and we went through another rigorous struggles and fights.
But, as you all know they over powered me, and succeeded in tying my hands and legs up, and sealing my mouth with the tape.
And dumped at the back seat of the car like a ram to be slaughtered.
The men entered the cars one by one, and they drove up with me bundled along with them.
Anguish and pain welled up within me, as I couldn't ascertain if my grandpa is still alive or dead.
Tears streamed down my cheeks uncontrollably, wetting the tape on my face, and some better part of my blouse.
the pains from the tightly tied rope holding my whole body into a bundled added to my tears, and at a point I thought I was going to die before the men would arrive at wherever it was they were taking me to.
I didn't know how long the driving took but I eventually fell asleep from excess crying, and didn't knew when the car stopped.
