Chapter – When the Fire Rises
---
⚜️ The Hell Mansion ⚜️
A massive mansion stood in the heart of a dark forest, its eerie aura sending chills down anyone’s spine. Painted in shades of black and deep crimson, the place looked nothing short of a haunted fortress.
Inside one of the dimly lit rooms, a blood-curdling scream echoed. A man’s head was submerged in acid, his agonized shrieks filling the space.
Standing before him was Khushi, her expression as cold as death itself. Clad in black gloves, she remained unfazed by the horrifying sight before her.
Her voice was venomous.
“𝑅𝑎𝑜... 𝑅𝑎𝑜... 𝑅𝑎𝑜! 𝐻𝑜𝑤 𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑦 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑠 𝑑𝑜 𝐼 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑎𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 𝑎𝑏𝑠𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑑𝑒𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑠, 𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑦𝑎𝑙, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑑𝑒𝑐𝑒𝑖𝑡?! 𝐽𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝐼 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑦𝑒𝑑 𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑒𝑡 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑎 𝑤ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑒, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑦 𝑔𝑎𝑚𝑒𝑠 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑚𝑒? 𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎 𝑚𝑎𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒!”
With that, she yanked Rao’s head out of the acid and slammed it onto the floor. His face was a disfigured mess, skin peeling off in grotesque patches. His agonized wails echoed throughout the room, but Khushi didn’t flinch—her eyes remained devoid of empathy.
Grabbing him by the throat, she hissed, “𝑆𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑘! 𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑙𝑎𝑠𝑡 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒.”
Rao coughed, his voice hoarse. “Kill me, but I won’t tell you anything.”
Khushi’s lips curled into a sinister smirk. “Your wish is my command.”
She signaled her two executioners, who stepped forward with gleaming blades. With a swift nod from her, they began slicing off Rao’s body parts one by one, like chopping vegetables.
His blood-curdling screams filled the mansion, but neither Khushi nor her executioners flinched.
She sat back on a chair, like a reigning queen watching a pathetic traitor meet his demise.

⚜️ The Rana Mansion ⚜️
Unlike the dark Hell Mansion, the Rana Mansion was a breathtaking palace, grand, elegant, and heavily guarded.
Inside, tension thickened in the lavish living room as Abhiyansh faced off against his grandfather, Shashwat Rana.
“𝐺𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑓𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟, 𝐼 𝑎𝑚 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑔𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑑! 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛’𝑡 𝑓𝑖𝑥 𝑚𝑦 𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑎𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑚𝑒!” he roared.
Before Shashwat Rana could respond, a woman stormed into the room.
Neelam Rana—his mother.
She glared at him. “𝑆𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑘 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑡, 𝐴𝑛𝑠ℎ! 𝐻𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑓𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟!”
Abhiyansh clenched his fists. “𝑀𝑜𝑚, 𝑑𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡’𝑠 ℎ𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔? 𝐺𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑓𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑓𝑖𝑥𝑒𝑑 𝑚𝑦 𝑚𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑚𝑦 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡!”
Neelam’s voice was cold. “If your grandfather has chosen a girl for you, then you will marry her. Otherwise... forget that your mother is alive.”
Her words struck him like a dagger. He stared at her retreating figure, speechless.
Shashwat Rana sighed. “One day, you will thank me for this decision, Abhiyansh. And that day, you will realize that I was right all along.”
Abhiyansh gritted his teeth, storming out of the mansion. “Do whatever you want!”
