Rosemary The cavern shuddered violently, a low, ominous rumble reverberating through the space. My wolf instincts flared, hackles rising as an oppressive energy descended like a crushing wave. The air grew heavier, stifling, as a shadow deeper than any I had ever seen began to coalesce near the altar. It twisted and writhed, its darkness swallowing the flickering torchlight and plunging the space into a near-abyssal gloom.
