The ground beneath me trembled, and jagged spikes of stone erupted from the floor, forcing me to leap aside. I landed lightly, my claws skidding against the stone as I twisted to avoid another barrage. Andromeda’s magic lashed out like a whip, slicing through the air with deadly precision. I countered with a flick of my head, a barrier of swirling wind and light deflecting the attack. “You’re quick,” Andromeda said, her voice tight with frustration. “But it won’t save you.” The air in the cavern grew colder, the temperature dropping sharply as Asmodeus raised both hands. A circle of fiery runes appeared beneath his feet, their glowing symbols casting an ominous light. The air around him seemed to crackle with energy, the very fabric of the cavern trembling under the weight of his power.
