Amber “Dear sister!” Her voice cut through the night like a blade, sharp and laced with malice. I turned slowly, my heart sinking at the sound of it. It had been centuries, but her voice still had the power to stir fear deep within me. I didn’t want to face her, didn’t want to look into those cold, calculating eyes. But I had no choice.
