Chapter 8

At the airport we walked outside to the plane and I froze half way. Iah holds my hand and asks what's wrong. I said: I have never been on a plane before and my stomach doesn't feel good right now. He holds my hands tighter and says: it will be okay I promise, come on. I follow close behind and I'm shaking from head to toe and he is smiling at me. I get to my seat and Iah buckles me. He says in a low voice close to my ear: We are ready to take off and sit next to me and I hold his hand for dear life. I ask with my eyes closed: Where are we going anyways? He answered: I knew that was coming, don't worry you will see soon. In the air now Iah says: Hey you can let go know and you can open your eyes. Look out the window and enjoy the view. So I did, I looked out the window and the water was so blue and there were some clouds. I thought to myself, I wonder how fluffy they are and laughed in my head. Iah asked: What's on your mind? I told him it was silly and started to blush. He said: tell me please. So I told him I was thinking how fluffy the clouds were. He smiled at me and said that isn't silly at all. The first time I flew I asked my mother if they were made of cotton candy. I smiled and kept looking out the window. Iah broke me out of thought and said: we are almost there. Look out to the right, you see that island? That's where we are going. I said: Wow, so beautiful. I can't wait to be back on solid ground, I don't think flying is for me.

We landed finally and I was so excited I couldn't stop smiling. I then saw a car approaching and hid behind Iah. He said it was okay, it was our driver. I relaxed a bit. I asked Iah: Are you sure nobody knows we are here? He said firmly: No, I promise nobody knows. We got to the hotel and it was so beautiful. People came out to greet us and helped with our luggage. Iah asked: what do you want to do first? I said: Can we change and go to see the water up close? I always wanted to see the beach. Please! He smiled and said yes, let's take you to your room.

I asked him where he would be staying, he said not to worry, his room is next to mine. I went into my room and it looked amazing. It reminded me of the bathroom in the house I woke up in the woods. He said: This is my door. Walk through here and you will be in my room if you need anything. I said okay and started to change into something to swim in. I called for Iah and he rushed into my room wearing nothing but shorts. He said: Are you okay whats wrong? I said to calm down, I just don't know what to wear to the beach, your mother packed my bags and I don't remember buying a swimsuit. Iah looked in my suitcase and said: Ah here it is, I guess she gave you one from the clothes room and packed it for you. I looked at it and said: I can't wear that. It looks like underwear. Iah started laughing and said: suit yourself. You can wear this or just some shorts and a t-shirt. He walked out the room and I decided to try it on. Wow, I'm showing so much skin, what do I do? I then looked out the window and saw some girls at the beach wearing similar outfits and robes. I had a robe in the suitcase so I decided to cover myself with it until we got to the beach. I walked out the room and found Iah waiting for me in the hallway. He asked; Are you ready? I answered yes, let's go. We got to an area with beach chairs and He set our towels on the chairs and said; Are you ready? Do you need some sunblock? You have fair skin and I don't want you to get sunburn. I told him that would be a good idea. I took off my robe and Iah was staring at me with his mouth open. It made me blush and I started to sway. I said: What's wrong? Do i look bad, I can change. He regained his posture and said: Wow, you are gorgeous and no need to change, this suits you perfectly. He then said: turn around and sit on the chair. I did what he asked and he started to put sunblock on my back and shoulders and was very careful not to go any lower. All of this had me holding my breath and I was so embarrassed. He stopped and I stood up and sat in front of him . He said: close your eyes, I'm putting some on your face. Then I felt his hand go down my chin to my neck and then my chest, I opened my eyes when he asked: may I? I nodded yes and he did very gently apply sunblock on my chest and stomach. While he was doing this I had the dirtiest thought ever. He was kissing me and holding me on the beach chair in his arms and making me shake and breathe heavily. He then snapped me out of my thoughts when he stopped touching me.

I opened my eyes and his eyes were focused on mine. He started to blink and then stood up and gave me his hand to hold. We started walking towards the water and it was so beautiful. He then took out his phone and grabbed me by my waist and said smile and look at the phone so I can take a picture and send it to my mother. They will know we made it and we are safe. I said okay and smiled. He said thank you and sent it to his mother. Later he got a text back and she said: Good and have fun. So we spent about an hour at the beach and it was starting to get late. Iah said are you okay? I nodded my head and splashed water at him and he did the same. He then said: Okay, time to go dinner will be ready soon. I asked: What are we having? He answered: whatever you want, we will be going to the buffet. I said: for real? I've never been to a buffet before. He said: It doesn't surprise me but lets go and enjoy it. I said okay. We walked to our chairs and dried up . I put my robe back on and walked to my room. Iah said: take a shower and wear an evening dress. I nodded while he kissed my cheek and walked away to get himself ready. I got in the shower and while I was washing my hair I kept asking myself, What are you doing Noel? You can't be with him, he doesn't like you that way. He is only helping you because you are helpless and you just went through a tragedy. I wonder if he sees me like those damsels in distress from the story books and after rescuing them they leave. Well i wont get my hopes up, I've never even kissed a boy so im not missing out. I got out of the shower and started to get dressed and do my makeup.

In Iah’s room….

Wow, I couldn't believe how pretty Noel was. She always wears clothes that cover her entire body so you don't really know if she has a figure. I took a deep breath and kept staring at the picture we took earlier. She has a beautiful smile and her lips, oh her lips look so delicious i wonder what they taste like. What am I thinking? I better take a cold shower. I bet she doesn't even like me that way and I bet she has never kissed a man. Oh I'm just wishfully thinking, get real Iah and get into the real world. She is smart and strong minded, she doesn't need a man to tell her what to do or live. Well, let's get ready for dinner. I'm ready, let's go. I knocked on her door and lord behold an angel.
