Chapter 3

Third Person p.o.v     Freya gazed in awe at her computer. She couldn't fathom how she already had 20 messages just one night after putting up her profile. While scrolling through them she couldn't help but blush at all the compliments she was getting, however, one comment managed to just confuse her. Overcome with curiosity at that fact that the only thing the man had sent was a phone number, she couldn't help but start typing in into her phone.          She assumed it was his number because who else could it be but she couldn't help the excitement that ran through her veins as she typed it in. She wondered who he was, what he looks like, how old he is. She wondered everything. Of course it didn't occur to her just to look at his profile as naive Freya would never learn.     Deciding just to text him because she was too nervous to call a man she did not even know the name of, she sent a simple, "Hello, I saw your message. This is Freya."     She looked in shock as she got an almost instantaneous reply.      "I was wondering if you would reply. I admit it was quite bold of me to only send my number." the man said "Oh, also my name is Zion." he continued     Zion grinned as he leaned back on his couch. She had replied and quickly too. His girl was eager.     "Nice to meet you. If I may ask, how old are you?" Freya hesitated sending the message because she didn't want to seem rude but she also didn't want to worry the whole time about talking to a creepy, old guy.     "Not to worry, I'm 27. I hope thats not too old HaHa." Zion was holding himself back from asking to meet with her already even though they just met. He was too excited to have finally found a girl that caught his interest.     "Oh, i'm 18. You're not too old but If I am being honest, I'm new to this whole thing so I must admit that I'm nervous." Freya didn't know if she should tell him that she's almost 18 but not quite so she decided against it since she didn't know if he would still talk to her after finding out.      "Im glad you said that Freya, I am also new to this. In fact, I mean when I say that you're the first girl I've messaged." Zion hoped that revealing this would give him some brownie points with Freya and it sure did.      Freya blushed and hid a small smile as she reread the message. It wasn't what we would consider a very blush-worthy text but as Freya had rarely any contact with the opposite gender, this was almost scandalous.     "I hope I didn't frighten you away." Zion joked after Freya hadn't replied     "Oh no, I'm just a bit shocked is all." Freya hurried out     "Good, you worried me. So when can I meet your beautiful self." Zion responded, hoping not to sound too forward but also wanting to get the point across that he was serious about this.     "Im not sure. I still don't know you so I admit I'm a little scared to meet a stranger." Freya was almost regretting this now. She forgot she would actually have to spend time with a stranger.     "How about Saturday. You can't get to know a person that you don't spend time with." Zion reasoned and with that Saturday was a date and Freya, having agreed, now had no way out of this new situation she had just put herself in.
