Accalia’s POV
“Huh…” I started, unsure of the words to use. I didn't want to say anything to piss her off.
“That's a good question. It's high time already.” Davis said to his mum.
“Please, stop it,” Felicia responded to him with a death glare.
“Hasn't she spent enough time with us?” He asked her, rolling his eyes in disgust.
“She barely has anything to stand on her own with.” Felicia retorted.
I decided to answer before it turned into a full-blown argument.
“I will leave when I have enough money to sustain myself,” I said loudly, distracting Felicia and Davis from their argument.
“And how do you intend to go about that?” The mother asked, looking at me questioningly.
“I will start a business soon. I just need to survey the place.” I answered her.
