I saw Simone struggling to fall asleep every night as her belly grows larger. Six months had passed ever since we’ve found out that she was pregnant with my child, and I couldn’t be happier. It still feels surreal to me. We finally have our own family.
I went closer and put my ears on her grown belly. “Your child is as strong as you. She kept kicking whenever I put my arms.” I told Simone, half teasing and complimenting her. She giggled at me, “How did you know it was a girl?” She replied curiously. “I HOPE it was a girl, and she would be as beautiful as her mother.” I kissed her softly on her lips.
We suddenly heard a knock on the door. “Alpha…Luna…I need your help!” It was Jimmy. I got off the bed and rushed to the door because I was afraid something bad just happened.
