When I woke up, I found it hard to move my body. The pain that I felt in my stomach has gone away. I looked to the side, and I was shocked when I was greeted by Marcus’s face beside me. He still fell asleep with his arms securing my waist. No wonder I had a hard time moving my body earlier. He stirred up a bit as he felt I was removing his arm slowly.
Before I could get up from the bed, he pulled me back and positioned my weak body under him. I struggled to free myself from him, but he only chuckled back in amusement. “Good morning, Simone…Did you have a good sleep last night?” He asked teasingly. Is he joking right now? With his scary attitude of his, how come I slept peacefully? Even right now, I felt as if I was being murdered by his sharp dominating look.
