Kai laughed. It wasn't a chuckle or a polite laugh.
He genuinely looked amused.
Elysia had boldly asked to kiss him?
What exactly was going on in that head of hers?
He stared at her quietly for a moment. His gaze slowly dropped to her hands as her fingers fidgeted nervously with each other.
"Well..." she drawled hesitantly. "Can I?"
The next second, Kai closed the distance between them.
Elysia gasped softly, caught off guard by how quickly he'd moved without saying a word.
Her back bumped lightly against the side of the car.
She was now gently trapped between his body and the car.
Kai lifted a hand, slid it behind her head and drew her closer before crashing his lips against hers.
He'd wanted to kiss her too.
He just hadn't expected her to ask so boldly.
