A party for my brother's arrival, wow who knew Father will throw a party knowing that I have a rogue situation in the midst. He knows that I'm barely standing up and he decides to throw a f*****g party.

I am this close to gain my title and all it takes is one rogue to ruin it all.

Shay, my attendant had some finishing touches in my gown I just looked at her and *sighs

"Something wrong Rei? That's quite a deep breath you got there"

"I don't know shay, I thought having a mate means being able to feel loved and free but a rogue? It just doesn't make sense to me, an Alpha being mated to a rogue"

"Do you remember what your mom taught us when we were little?"

I looked at myself in the mirror, I have an white ombre'd into rose gold dress. Rose Gold has always been my color, kinda hoped that Allina could have at least spots of Rose Gold. Oh yeah I wasn't able to shift ever since we met Ayden.

'Yeah yeah let's just get through with the party first'

I pushed her at the back of my mind, it's time to go through my brother's party after I need a stress reliever at this point

unlike the first time I saw his hair was long and in a mess. Now I could see he cut his hair short, kinda liked how I could see his face now. Small eyes, sharp nose and chiseled jaw... Oh my gods what's happening to me. I could feel Allina take over.

Allina hugged him and trying to seduce him

Allina was trying to hugged him but Ayden stopped her by grabbing both of our shoulders

"Allina, it's really nice to meet you but I would like to take things slow. Reina wanted to reject me, but I'm doing my best to change her mind" Ayden smiled.

He wants to change my mind? He's a rogue! if he could change his title into Alpha then I would gladly accept him as his mate.

A few seconds after, I could myself gain control over my body then I opened my eyes. Ayden was still holding both of my hands and was smiling at me.

"Princess, I know what I am and I know that's not what you want to rule and live with."

"How could you say that? You don't even know what I've been through"

"I do Princess, people talks a lot especially Steve"

"Steve? the Omega?"

"Yeah, he's my attendant"

That alone shut my mouth, that is exactly what mom said when I told her about Steve coming out as gay. What's really lovable about Steve is that even though he's gay, he has a female mate Jocelyn an Omega also whom he loved so much they even have a three-year old son together.

I waited for him to escort me but he's just standing there... I looked at him and he just looked at me..

He offered his hand and we walked in to the party. Everyone was celebrating the elders, the members and of course my brother surrounded by many unmated She-wolves. I wonder who he might be mated with, hmmm what if he's going to have a rouge mate?

Hmm if his mate is a pack member who's not around probably the Beta's daughter Rose or Gamma's daughter Chris. Rose is away for college and it's surprising that the Morgan's agreed to let her out of her sight after what happened to their first child. Chris on the other hand has always been crushing over Ryle ever since we were kids and I could still remember she would bully girls who has a big crush on Ryle. There was one time when she heard her sister Tiana giggling over Ryle she threw whip cream all over her in the school cafeteria and threatened the other She-wolves that whoever talks or even glance over Ryle will be punished. Then again that was way back 7th grade, I'm pretty sure she's still crushing over Ryle but by the time comes that Ryle will meet his mate well let's just say we all know who's going to be all dramatic for the rest of her life. Since the day she humiliated her sister, the Gamma sent her to the neighboring Silverwood Pack to their Mother's Grandparents probably to teach her a lesson. She would only come back when there's a special occasion held in the pack

"Hey, nice to meet you Great party by the way"

"Well since you'll be around maybe we can catch up? Do you play? Games? Sports?"

"Uhm I don't know, everything is still new to me"

"Well we can fix that, how about we hang out tomorrow I'm sure Father would agree to let you enjoy sometime right?"

Ryle just stared at him for a few seconds

"You're right your a rogue, but ranked wolf or not I still respect you as a person. If you are my sister's mate then I'll make it up to her by hanging out with you. Besides I don't really care about ranks, that's what my mom taught us when we were little ranked wolf or not we would still need to respect people equally."

That's probably the best thing I've heard from my brother knowing our personalities, he changed a lot. That made me quite happy, he accepted Ayden like he's just a regular wolf. There might still be a chance after all.

"Right, you should probably teach your sister that"

"What's that supposed to mean" He's getting a bit cocky, Now I feel guilty

Ryle just laugh and walked towards a group of unmated She-wolves.

"Princess, how about we go get some fresh air?"

Ayden laughed and we walked towards the Garden at the back. His laugh does sound attractive, I hope I can hear it more often.

AYDEN'S POV

So we walked to the garden for some fresh air, damn who knew parties can be chaotic and awkward at the same time. But I'm glad that Reina stayed with me otherwise I would have take a run.

I just followed her to the forest, then she begin to climb a tree with a house on it so I just followed her through. We got in the house and it was cozy for an old house, on the outside the house looked old but on the inside it's comfortable.

"Hahahah yeah I try to make it peaceful as possible and I didn't want to attract other people from coming so I made it look like it's dated"

"Well thank you, this is also the place that I would think a lot. Father built this when Me and Ryle were still 2-3 years old, we spent most of our childhood here until one time Ryle fell from the Tree House resulting him getting a brain surgery."

"Yeah and ever since then he was never allowed to step foot on this place again and I doubt that he will he's scared of heights now"

She offered me a glass of green liquor but it does smell like a juice to me

"Okay this drink is weird, the only green water that I saw was the pond near my cave. Are you sure this is safe? I mean you we're trying to reject me and offering a weird drink does trigger my senses."

I gulped down the drink and man IT WAS AMAZING, I can't even tell if there's alcohol in it but I can feel my throat stings down to my stomach.

"Well then shall we take a lap for goddess sake?"

We removed our clothes so that we won't have to 'ruin the masterpiece' as Steve said, we shifted and took laps until we were exhausted. Probably about 4-5 in the morning, we finished our laps and we went back to the pack house to rest.

As we past the living room, I could see Reina sleeping on the couch with a bunch of bottle on the floor.

"See I told you, there's still a chance" *wink

*sigh

"We'll see Steve, thank you for joining me on the run you can rest now"

Steve nodded and went back to his quarter, I just stared at Reina removed the hair covering her face. She looked like she was crying, That hurt me seeing her puffed face from crying... I kissed her forehead and she shifted to the other side. I went to get a blanket and covered her body.

*sigh

I hope you can accept me for who I am princess....

and I walked back to my room to rest.
