The Rogue and The Alpha's Daughter

AYDEN'S POV

I'm on my way downstairs for breakfast, Steve insisted to go downstairs because I can't ruin his beauty sleep just because I needed breakfast. I can't blame Steve for feeling that way, I admit ever since they caught me I spent most of my time sulking here in my room wishing that everything could back to where it should be.

*sigh

But I know it can't especially when my mate is the Alpha's Daughter. The pantry was kinda like what you see in a school cafeteria, round tables and wolves grouped in to what I've assume by ranks. There's a different tables for the higher ranked wolves, guards and of course omegas. At least by these pack, the lower ranked wolves still has a place in the pantry I wonder if there are any tables for rogues that would have been helpful.

After getting my food with the help of some Omegas, I turned around and found that almost all of the rogues we're looking at my direction. Now this is going to be hard, I could tell some we're wondering why a rogue is in their pack let alone in the pack house and some probably still can't believe that I'm mated to the Alpha's Daughter specifically the unmated males. At some point I want to just run to my room but I know I can't do that, it would just signify that I accepted defeat. So I just looked for a table that is quite invisible to the rest of the group and eat in uncomfortable silence. I tried to look up but I can't stop them glaring or even looking at my direction.

"Ayden! it's good to see you here"

"Hey Ryle uhm can you help me with something?"

"help with what?"

I signaled him to look at his pack members and he got what I meant.

" Oh right, hold on"

Ryle spaced out for a moment, I could see his eyes changed from brown to white. Probably sending a link to the rest of the pack to creep the hell out of me. A few minutes later, I could see that the rest of the pack members we're back to normal. Chatting, goofing around and eating, *sigh I want to badly prove myself to the rest but of course I have no right to defend myself to them. After all I'm still a rogue.

"Thanks Ryle"

"No problem! I'm sorry though the pack still can't believe you're here but don't worry they'll get the hang of it"

"I hope so"

"So I do remember I invited you to hang out with me later, don't worry I'll introduce you to my friends they're cool with you."

"Right uh can I think about it?"

"well you can but if you're not on the lobby in 2 hours I'mma get you myself"

"Hahah alright"

Then I sensed Reina nearby, she came in to the pantry with her Omega Shai I think? I'm not sure if that's right... Reina might have sensed my presences that she looked at me and Ryles direction. She turned her heel to get some food and made her way to my table.

"Hey brother"

"Oooh hey sister?? Okay Rei this is too weird I sound gay if I'll call you like that"

"Hahahahah I'm just messing with you Ryle. Uhm Ayden? how are you?"

How am I? Wow she's got a lot of nerve asking how I am after what she said last night.

"I'm fine why?" I looked at her with a straight face but damn I can't stay mad at her she's too beautiful

"Oh uhm nothing I-i uhhh I" *coughs

"I'm sorry, I apologize to what I said last night"

So she's sorry huh

"Hmm i don't think so Princess you made it very clear last night what your motives are"

It still hurts by the way, who knew I would be mated to someone who values their rank more than anything

"......" I just kept my silence, I didn't want to ruin my morning but seeing her apologize without any emotions? that just unbelievable...

She then began chatting with her Omega who is Shay by the way, she's laughing and gossiping like nothing happened! She told me that she wants to reject me last night and now she's abusing the word "Sorry" and now she's laughing?!

"Uhhh *coughs what are you doing?"

"What? I'm conversing? and eating breakfast?"

"I can see that Princess what I meant is why are you here in my table"

"Technically these are all our table, no one called dibs as to where each person should sit asshole"

"Really? does the other pack member knew about that or it's just me?"

"You know what, it's too early for nonsense opinions Ayden so I suggest for you to be thankful that I'm here sitting for breakfast with you or should I say saving you from embarrassment in sitting from the table alone!"

"Nonsense? rightttt says the person who called me asshole first! "

"Truth be told you are one"

"Really? care to explain Princess"

"To my explanation I believe you owe me a thank you"

"Oh really? for what?"

"For saving both of us from embarrassment of course, picture this I came here planning to eat breakfast then I saw you my mate and instead of eating with you I went to the other table, humiliating you and spreads rumours that I don't acknowledge you as my mate. Now do you understand where I'm going here?"

"So you think you're saving me from from any rumours your pack members will be spreading, I guess your still stuck with the idea that since I am a rogue I still need saving from my higher ranked mate. Well news flash Princess" I stood up and went closer to where she was sitting and leaned close to her

"I don't need saving, I am capable of taking care of myself Princess" then I rushed out of the pantry heading to my room.

Me? needed saving? from her?!

Who does she think she is?! It doesn't mean that I'm a rogue I'm not capable of tolerating other wolves actions! I'm a rogue for Gods Sake!

I need a run fast

' Reed! Take over and I swear to the Moon Goddess if you'll go the pantry after this I'm never letting you out ever again.'

I grabbed my extra clothes from the cabinet, left a note to Steve just in case he comes and went out to the fields. I could feel Reed taking over and felt my bones starting to shift.

'I doubt that Reed, I can't believe she would look down on me that fast. She doesn't even know me!'

REINA'S POV

Ayden stormed out of the pantry after our disagreement, he's too dramatic for a guy! I mean seriously what's the deal? I felt bad for what I said last night so I want to make up for him ugh! The more reason as to why I should reject him. How am I supposed to handle a Mate who has a girls' attitude?!

"You know I did see him with Steve last night leaving for a run last night but you know I didn't have enough time to dwell on it I got She wolves waiting on my room last night"

"Ugh YOU ARE SO DISGUSTING!!!"

"HAHAAHAH I'm kidding Rei jeez, I love my mate to death even if I haven't met her yet but still I need to satisfy my needs before I could lose my license to the club you know?" *wink

"You know I really question the Moon Goddess if you're really are my brother or a s****l pedophile. Seriously Ryle if you're going to get a young innocent pup pregnant I'm gonna strangle you first then I'm going to let your mate finish you up."

"Shay, you can go to your friends now I need to speak with Ryle privately"

"Hmmm is this a hot tea conversation or an iced tea conversation?"

I just nodded and went near the counter to handover my dishes

"Rei, I'll meet you upstairs in 15 a'ight?"

A few moments later I went to my study and Ryle came in later on.

"So, what's up?"

"I know that look Rei, did Father talk to you?"

"Everything that has been happening is very confusing Ryle, when we first met Ayden Father was so furious and angry that I'm mated to Ayden but that same evening. I went to his study and I saw him talking with Elder John about demoting me and give you the Alpha title."

"You're right, that is confusing but even if Father's going to give me the Title I would turn it down Rei. I don't see myself as the Alpha you know me, but why would Father resolve to that decision? He even supported you when you won! I don't get it"

"Apparently it was Elder John who proposed to make you Alpha, considering my Rogue situation"

"Ah, that makes sense. Well you can't blame him, I'm amazing"

"I really like how you're humoring this situation Ryle, it doesn't help me AT ALL"

"HAHAHA what??? you're too serious, which is why YOU SHOULD BE THE ALPHA"

"Perhaps Elder John is right, if you were born first I wouldn't have this problem and I will be mated to a neighboring Alpha or something"

"Rei, we don't have any control especially in that situation but I can tell you that every happens for a reason. If your going to be the Alpha so what? sure they have their own opinions but it's your decision to take the job or not"

"Do you remember that time when we were competing with each other in the Death Ring"

"You won Rei, because even though that you'll be the first Alpha Female you know that you can lead the pack to the best of your abilities. You proved that on the ring, you proved that to Father when you fought against Elder John, you proved that to me when you studied the Wolf Laws for months so that you can solve the Packs' problems and most importantly you proved that to Mom when you fought for your place as the first born Alpha Female of the pack."

I just smiled, my brother may be a jerk but he sure does make me feel that I can be who I am. Our time in the Death Ring was the most nerve-wracking, as twins we are competitive with each other. Ryle was always the free spirit of the both of us of course he is the youngest and me as the first born of the two of us I would always stick to the rules. Til this day, I could still feel the weight of my shoulders. The pack, the elders, my family and now my mate, it's too much for my part but after this? I might give my mate a second chance well "might"

"ROGUE'S ARE ATTACKING IN THE NORTH BORDER ALL WARRIORS PROTECT THE ROYAL FAMILY"

Me and Ryle ran as fast as we can to help, we can see that the Rogues have made it near the Pack House.

These rogues, how did they get in?! Almost all of the guards got injured the ranked wolves and their children are now protecting the Pack House.

"Reina! Stay inside now!!"

"No I won't Ryle!"

"REINA! GET INSIDE NOW! WE CAN'T RISK YOU GETTING HURT!

"NO FATHER I'LL FIGHT!"

A loud howl stopped everyone including the vicious rogues

A black wolf emerges from the pack house, growling at the rogues.

Reed... he looks so majestic...for a rogue wolf that is but he is bigger than the rogue wolves...

I moved closer to Reed, touched his leg and he leaned in front of me shielding me from the rogues. Then a brown rogue charged Reed and the the rogues circled unto him

"No!!! Ryle!! Please help him!!! Father please!!!"

"Go back Rei! Stay in the Pack House!!!"

Ryle shifted into a black-brown wolf, Allan, and he charged in with Ayden and the rogues. Reed is stronger than the rogues with the help of my brother and the rest of the guards. One by one they killed the rogues and..

ROOAAARRRR!!!!!!!!!!!

The rogues stopped attacking and another Jet black wolf who's on the same size as Reed shifted in front of us. A man with a black coat was slowly approaching us, maintaining eye contact with Ayden's Wolf but shifted to mine.

"Your Highness.." He bowed to me

"Who are you?"

"My..my.. Princess, how beautiful you've become! but of course I'm not here for you darling" he then stepped closer to Ayden's Wolf. Reed was growling intensely at him, like he knew him or something.

"Now my boy, is that how you greet someone who raised you?" raised him?? Ayden?

Reed shifted back to human form, a guard gave him a robe and a short to cover up

"Dimitri, if you missed me why don't you just call me huh?"

"Hahaha always the chatty type are we? You know how I love making a grand entrance"

"Really? How stupid of you to make an entrance sparing the lives of your precious rogues?"

"I do what I want with them because YOU abandoned them, in return I vowed for them to be known as the Vicious Rogues who infiltrates packs. Packs who doubted them, packs who never accepted them, and packs who rejected them."

"If I may Mr. Dimitri, I believe you have crossed the borders causing the lives of my members."

"Oh dear Princess, don't you worry this is only well a friendly visit" *wink

Ayden growled at him but Dimitri could only smirk at his remark. He walked closer to Ayden and..

"Well..well... looks like the Great and Selfish Rogue Wolf is now smitten into a lovely...plaything"

Ryles' wolf Allan growled at Dimitri. He was about to charge when Ayden moved in front of him.

"I'm the one your after Dimitri, leave them alone"

"I'm only here for what I asked for Ayden, and that is the information you have for my daughter's whereabouts. I left her in your care, I gave you clothes, shelter, a second chance and in return you betrayed me by sleeping with my daughter and left with her." What?! Now that's another reason why I should reject him. I glared at Ayden and I knew he can sense it because his eyes shifted to my direction.

"I don't know what you're talking about"

"Oh really? Do you want me to make you remember?"

Dimitri punched him in his stomach blood came out of Ayden's mouth. Ayden was coughing blood but he stood up wobbly, then stared at me saying...

"If you want me to remember don't you think it's right to hit me on my head?"

"ENOUGH!"

"Well.. well.. Alpha Ben!, I apologize for the damages but of course I'll stop bothering you if you'll give me the rogue. After all you don't want to stain your precious pack with some rogue blood would you?"

All of the wolves, the Beta's, Gamma's and the guards maintained their guard and growled at him. He has the guts to humiliate my Father to everyone. I clenched my fist as I'm about to shift but stopped when Shay grabbed my shoulders. Father just stared at him for a few moments and..

"Over my dead body" My Father stood firm as if he was testing him to take the bait.

Make the first move, you die,

Study your opponent first and only then you start planning for your next move...

That's what my Father taught us when me and Ryle were little...

Dimitri smiled, giving in to my Father's bait, took a knife in his pocket and...

everything was in a blur..

everyone was running..

some were shouting..

at me..

at Ryle...

Ayden grabbed me and we went inside the Pack House... I could only hear them fighting, killing, blood gushing... Ryle... My father.... Ayden... My People .....

"Reina.... reina....."

I looked at Ayden, I could see the concern in his eyes but why? what did he do to let Dimitri invade our pack?. what was Ayden's relationship with Dimitri's daughter?

"Reina.....reina.....reina......Eyes...on...me....please....stay...awake....."

My mate......I could feel myself getting drowsy.... what's happening?.....

Ryle came in to check with me, both of them carried me to my room....Ryle went back downstairs as Ayden stayed behind.....

Everything went black after that.....
