HOW TO BATHE LIKE CLEOPATRA:
Cleopatra, the queen of ancient Egypt, was said to bathe in milk. You too can take a milk bath to soothe and soften your skin.
• Just add 2 pints of whole milk (about 4 cups) to a tub of warm water. Swirl it around thoroughly so that the water becomes white. Hop in and have a good soak for at least twenty minutes. Then after rinse ion clear, warm or cool water.
HOW TO HAVE A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP:
A good night's sleep helps you feel great and look gorgeous. Most glamorous girls need around minimum of 8 hours and maximum of ten hours of sleep each night. Try this mini bedtime routine to help you fall asleep easily.
Have a light snack:
• Sweet treats, heavy meals, and sugary drinks just before bed will keep you awake. If your tummy's rumbling, have some warm milk, a banana, or a slice of whole wheat toast an hour before bed. A cup of peppermint or chamomile tea will help you relax, too.
Wind down:
• Try to relax during the hour before bed by reading a book or listening to some gentle music. Make sure you get your homework done earlier in the evening - doing it just before bed will leave your mind racing and keep you awake.
MAKE SURE YOUR BEDROOM IS DARK AND QUIET:
• Make sure the curtains are pulled tight and get rid of any ticking clocks. If you live in a noisy household, make a DO NOT DISTURB sign for your bedroom door and use it.
PREPARE FOR BED:
• Put a glass of water beside your bed just in case you wake up thirsty. Pull on some comfy PJs, wash your face, brush your teeth, and hop between the sheets. Read for a while until you feel nice and sleepy, then turn out the light or your lamp shade.
GET COMFORTABLE:
• Make sure your neck is well supported with one or two soft pillows. Don't wrap yourself up in too many blankets - you don't want to get too hot during the night.
LET YOUR WORRIES FLOAT AWAY:
• Worrying can keep you awake. If you're anxious about something, try this trick; Imagine you're putting the problem into a box. Then imagine you're putting the box into a closet and locking it away until morning. This will often help you relax enough to fall asleep.
