She will learn more from time to time throughout her new mission. Although she does not have a specific plan to accomplish her mission, she will just let her intuition and feelings decide for it. After all, she does not have any ill intension towards Drevothia. What she longed for is the peace she has been dreaming of ever since she was a child. The mission might have been planted in her mind since she was a child, she is the hidden ace of their country—to show that they are vigorous than any state and that, they can rule the whole Drevothia. Her mind has been implanted with morbid thoughts howbeit, deep inside her heart she always wants peace. She thought once that it will be for the greater good of Drevothia. That this will be the way to have peace, to have her Father, the King of Persia, rule everything in Drevothia. That was what he promised to her. And, when she learned that it is all just her Father's selfish hopes and ill intentions, she tried looking for a way out but she could not. She was a coward. Even when she felt true love towards the crown prince and never the pretentions she intended of, her fears of disobeying her Father is much stronger. It was too late when she regretted it and the only thing she could think of is to save the whole Drevothia from a possible war. Not because she cares too much for what might be the lose of her country but because she cares and loves their land, Drevothia. Her existence and mission might ignite a war, she had to lie to Eldrion. Now that she is given the second chance for redemption, she will take advantage of it for the goodness of all. When the evening came, Caiwen left her inside the house. He only turned on the television to offer Viktorina entertainment while she has no one to talk to. He also left Kami, his chameleon, for Viktorina to babysit. There will be no problem since Kami is well-behaved. Kami just sits quietly on Viktorina's lap, using its invisibility that Viktorina almost forgot she has the chameleon on her lap. "Just turn off the television when you don't feel like watching. I will be back at 9pm. Lance might go to work later too, if he does, we should expect him at 11pm." She nods her head mindlessly. "Okay..." she says almost in a whispering voice, too engaged to what she is watching to even pay Caiwen attention. She is clumping cheese curls in her hand, the snack Caiwen provides her. She likes it. The powdery cheese flavour is stifling on her tongue and the curls melting. She never had one in their world, not that there is available. The crumbs are falling into her lap, Kami is catching some of it. Lance went out of his room, he is already wearing his go-to outfit: a maroon hoodie, dark pants. He wears his mask too. The air has always been uncomfortable for Lance. He struggle his way behind the sofa where Viktorina is busy watching movies. She did not seem to take notice of his presence though. This is all new to Viktorina that she could not take her eyes away from the movie she is watching. Lance glances towards Viktorina before he left—she is laughing, wiping the tears that clings to her lashes. He could not help but to smile secretly because of the cheery visitor of Caiwen. Caiwen is already tired when he came home. He was drown in tests and long quizzes at school that he did not have fluid of energy left in his body. He is already sleepy as he opened the front door wearily. The living room is lit brightly, just like how it was when he left. Viktorina is still in the same position minus the cheese curls in her hand. She is watching the movie closely on her seat, like a kid trying to catch every detail of the movie. "You are still watching?" Caiwen's forehead creases. He fixiated his hold of his sling bag. Viktorina's eyes for a while graced towards him before it went back to the television. "Uh, yes. I... It's entertaining, Lord." She glances back at him and then back to the television. He could see that she is trying to offer respect to his presence but her attention is getting robbed by the movie she is watching. She says it is entertaining. He is glad that she enjoyed it despite having to be locked inside the house. "Oh... You enjoyed it?" "Yes, I did. I appreciated the hospitality, Lord. It is a great experience for me to discover such entertaining thing in your world." "It's called a movie. I see, you really are enjoying this." She smiled and nods, her eyes unattending his Lordship. He sighs. She did enjoys it, he can see that but he doubt she knows how to turn off the television. Viktorina is busy watching the movie, which is showing an irrelevant notice for the whole, he knew that because he had been watching that over and over again with Lance. He strides towards the remote control, Viktorina's eyes followed him but she never knew what it is he is holding. She just remembered he used it a while back and the television lit up. "Please excuse my intervention, Your Royal Highness." He bows his head a bit. He did asked for an excuse before he will do this. He pointed the edge of the remote control on the television, her head prompting sideways out of curiosity. He presses the red button just beside the green button above every keys. The television went off that had Viktorina losing her sanity. "You impudent little—" s**t! She is about to say that but she held her tongue and behaves herself. "M-My Lord, how did you do that? Such power!" She cleared her throat and held her lips in a toothy grin as if she had never almost gone into ballistic. "Right?" He burst into a proud laughter, his laugh resonating the whole living room. He knows Viktorina is trying to grip at the very end of her patience and that is way too funny for him. "This is the power of humans in the human world, Viktorina." He waved the remote control into the air, meaning to say that it is the medium of their power, technology. "Will I be able to do that, Lord?" Gone Viktorina's angst and grouch, she is now filled with curiosity and enthusiasm that feeds Caiwen's pride as their so-called Guardian. "Of course. You might as well try doing this while you are here." "How do I do that, Lord?" Caiwen prompt himself and his lifeless bag on the sofa. He sits closer beside Viktorina to show her the remote control in his hand. "This green button is what you use to turn on the television. That thing." He pointed the television before she could ask him what it is. "This red button is what you use to turn off the television, just like what I did then." He respectively graced his digits on the respective colors he had mentioned. Her head tilted, as if she has not yet understood. "What is turn on? I only know the latter one when you destoryed that pitiful thing." "It's not destroyed, Viktorina. It's just off." He facepalmed his face. He never knew it is this hard to teach her this thing. He thought she would have already know what he meant by those words and what is needed to be taught is only the process. Her eyes rounded in saucers. "Oh! It's not?" Caiwen nods, sighing frustratedly. "Yes, Viktorina. It's not." He is supposed to sleep now and not teaching her. Maybe he needs to set Lance into teaching her some other time. "Then when I push this green thing, will it come back to normal?" She asks, the curiosity hanging at the tip of her tongue. Caiwen's head might be out of spring for nodding, shaking and facepalming! "Then, allow me to push this thing, my Lord." She bows down her head, held the remote control beside her chest as she does that. Viktorina pushes the green button, following Caiwen's instruction, she pointed it across the small dot at the very edge of the television. It lit up again and the movie comes to her vision. Her face lit up along with it as she jumps excitedly to the bouncy sofa. She seems to have suddenly forgotten the Lord's presence. "Click the red thing when you are done watching." Caiwen's last remarks before he was about to go inside his room for a good rest. "Uh, Lord... What do we do about the small chandelier?" Caiwen stops midways and glances above the ceiling. She is referring to the bulb. "That is not a chandelier, Viktorina. That is a bulb." "Oh..." Viktorina zips her lip when she notices that Caiwen is getting weary. He drags himself to the switch and turned off the light before he is finally able get inside his room. Despite the noise outside his room, he incessantly dozes off, hugging his huge pillows close to his tired body. Viktorina's eyes are already surprisingly hurting but she has not understood the reason why it is hurting that she continues watching the television.
