Aquire the Impossible
Centuries ago, certain beings existed before the dimensions were even created. These beings were created to the likings of the Higher God. They wield powers lower than the Higher God but way superior than any beings yet to exist. When the Higher God created different dimensions such as Ercoxia, Drevothia, Middle East, Vasta Grande, Elisitia, Earthland and many more... He appointed these beings to watch over and be in control of these worlds. They were called the Uines.
The Uines were given the power to control the time, have vast knowledge about the world they're holding and to destroy everything.
Another beings were created afterwards. Some possesses powers while some were only ordinary beings, only greed were dominant. They lived in the same dimension as those beings, so they were able to watch closely. While they were in hiding and living alone in a solitary island, years later, their existence came to known to these beings.
Knowing what an Uine was capable of, these beings took it for granted. Until they were drowned in deep greed, their intentions became darker and darker. They found out that the powers of an Uine can be stolen from them. They were only simple beings in the first place, created by the Higher God and granted powers that could benefit every dimension.
They want it. So they plotted dirty tricks to throw off the Uine.
Having a vast knowledge about their worlds, they came to know what was happening. They used it to their advantage not to lose their lives in case these things were to happen. Not only the betrayal happened to one dimension but also to another dimensions. It was strange how the world conspire against them but they did not question it any further thinking it was the will of the Higher God.
And so, they left their dimensions and fled to a dimension where the beings were more ordinary. That dimension was called Earthland.
During their wander in the Earth, they tried countless of experiments and at last, they were finally successful after all those tiring trial and errors. They came up to a wonderful creation—and granted it, the Book of Knowledge, the same power as they held. Pure Uines may have the ability to use their full potentials even in an unfamiliar dimension but an Ùine that were not pure-blooded can only use their full abilities in their dimensions. Through the Book of Knowledge, even in another dimensions, the future Guardians can help and guide their people.
The title, ability and Books of Knowledge has been passed down generations after generations. Nobles had to marry humans to have an heir and heiress, some might be a marriage out of love or a marriage just to continue the heritage. Their existence never vanished in their dimensions as the Ùines did not withhold anything about them to their people. They left histories about themselves and the purpose they served. Some worship them way beyond that of immortal Gods while some, like the other haughty nobles, think of them as nothing but an ace card to their sleeves.
An Ùine that was once chased out from their own world... one of them is eating casually in front of Princess Viktorina.
"How do I go back to Drevothia, Lord?" asked Viktorina.
"Hmm..." Caiwen is humming happily, enjoying his newly cooked white rice, chicken soup and potatoes.
After their heated conversation inside the restricted room, Caiwen decides to cook for all of them. There are already goods from the grocery store bought by Lance. Lance already went back from the grocery store and while they are talking inside that room, which Lance has the knowledge of being restricted, he takes the opportunity of laying down what has to be done. It seems like he stays inside his room when they are already done talking inasmuch as he is already sneezing and coughing while placing Caiwen's grocery in the fridge and on the counter top.
"The portal. There are different portals when going in and out of Drevothia. One is using the Book of Knowledge but only the Guardians can open it as we are the key. The other one is to obtain the red stones, of which you and the Drevothians have knowledge of. However, you do not have the red stones so you will be needing my help. The third one is to seek help from another Ùine to transcript the lost Book of Knowledge to another empty book in order to open a portal, that is applicable by only us Guardians if we lost the book."
Viktorina nods while she listens to the Lord's newly imparted knowledge to her that cannot be found in the books of Persia's huge royal library, conceivably in any library of Drevothia. Only he who holds the power of the Lord of Knowledge have that certain degree of knowledge.
"If you lost the Book of Knowledge, are we going to lost our world too?"
"No. That is impossible. Only the one who held the certain power can destroy another world completely. While our clan holds the title of being Drevothia's guardian and it has been passed down from generations after generations, we never had the thoughts of doing so. We have the ability to alter the time, reverse, move forward or remove the world completely but we never thought of destroying another world for our satisfaction."
Viktorina has already stops eating and eagerly listens to the Lord. Caiwen responds to Viktorina's queries, stops for a while to sneak food into his mouth and hum happily then speak again. Viktorina has been patient to wait for him to continue every time he stops. She never felt angered and thinks he is disrespecting a royalty like her. That was since she knew about the Lord's appearance and what might had happened to their land. Verdetta is a rich and powerful country, nothing can faze their military force and their country itself. But if the other nobles are helping each other in order to throw off Verdetta, they might be able to do that.
"However, it will be not a good idea to lose it. All the History's records and everyone's records are there. I cannot also enter your world without the book to open the portal. While I am the key, the Book of Knowledge is the keyhole and the door. And, if the book will fall into the wrong hands, they might use the page in a way that could harm another world. Although the page does not work in the Earthland without me casting the spell, it will work in Drevothia even without spells."
"The page?" Her forehead creases. She could not remember if the Lord had mentioned something about what the page of the Book of Knowledge can do.
"The Book of Knowledge is magical, even without me it can function. While I may able to control time with the use of the book, the book itself has its own power even without its caster. It can grant anything you write in there. One order from the writer, it will be a chain of events that might destroy anything. That is why it is dangerous."
"What if I will write 'There will no longer be war going to happen'?"
"That can be but as what I had told you, it will be a chain of events. It will be dangerous if you will just write a plausible pretext without thinking deeper about what series of events it could lead. It could take something important away from you while it happen. You have to be wise on what to write. You need to think of the possible things to happen if you were to do that."
"Then, is everything written on the page comes true?"
Caiwen shakes his head and scooped another bowl of chicken soup, he is targetting mostly the potatoes in it and not the meat of the chicken. The chicken mayhap is now insulted and probably will refuse for it to be called chicken soup any longer.
"No. It won't work on people from different dimensions. It doesn't work on me to since I am not a pure Uine. I am half-human, after all. It only affect matters that are from your world. Also, those who have strong sense of self may not fall under the spell of the scripture."
"Will you be able to reject it?"
"I can. I need to get a hold of it in my hand if I will do that. If it were to be hidden while I do not have knowledge of its place, I cannot do it. I can also reject records but it would take the whole page to be rejected if I were only to reject small details. However, rejecting records from the book and not from a wish written on the page will be dangerous."
Viktorina nods her head. Caiwen indulge himself to the food. Viktorina seems to have not enjoyed the food he prepared. She is looking down as if she is in a deep thought. It seems like her thoughts are in a haywire.
"Rejecting the death of someone from the page is the easiest to do because it will not affect the chains of events that had happened. While I may able to reject, I cannot undo huge events such as wars and betrayals."
