Chapter 9 (The formation of dark being)

After class, Hunter and Sky went straight to the Cafeteria, and it smelled like a mixture of sweet and spicy aromas pouring from the kitchens.
A glimpse of a skinny man shovelling food into its mouth and at the other table a fat but curvy woman ate a salad piled high beneath a couple of burgers. There are many tables inside the cafeteria where most students generally eat during lunch hours.
When they arrived close to the counter, Hunter turned to Sky.
"What is your order?" Hunter asked.
Sky remembered his favorite meal every lunch. It was delicious Moussaka. It is based dish with a combination of eggplants, potatoes, and ground meat.
"Moussaka," he answered.
Hunter frowned, "Still moussaka?"
"Yes, why?"
"Man, you're weird," he responded.
"What's so weird about that?" Sky asked.
"Because your order is the same as your last order — yesterday, today, and definitely tomorrow for sure." he explained, chuckling.
"Well, that's because this is the only food that I wanted on their menu."
"Miss, an order of moussaka and pasta with two lemon juice, " Hunter said.
" Oh, also put any spicy side-dish," Hunter added.
He lets Hunter speak for his order while he's looking at the whole cafeteria. His eyes are looking for Abigor.
They quickly bought their food. When they finally got their order, they proceeded to the last table in the cafeteria. Hunter saw Asthenia on the other table with her friend Melody… behind Sky. She was secretly staring at Sky, who was already munching and enjoying his favorite food.
Hunter quickly sip lemon juice and gulped.
"Man, why does moussaka become your favorite?" Hunter breaks the silence.
Sky stopped chewing food. Hunter thought it would not answer, but no, Sky answered him for the first time.
" Uh, this?" he asked, looking at its food.
"Dad always cooks it," he said.
Sky's father left him and her mother for a long time. It was a kind, caring, and loving father to them. So even if it left them for no reason, he could not get angry with it.
He continued chewing his food — He never shares such things even with Hunter, he does not want dramatic talk — Hunter sees how Asthenia stares at Sky on the other table. She has been wanting Sky for a long time, but she does not want to admit it, especially since he has a girlfriend.
"Isn't that Abigor, he's also handsome, right?" Melody blurted when she saw Abigor walking.
Sky stopped chewing again and looked at his former friend. It doesn't have any single expression on his face, it was cold and dark.
"I like him, but he was scary," Melody added.
"Maybe that's just the way he is," Asthenia responded.
"Yeah, maybe,"
As it walked, he stared bitterly at Sky, without using any single expression to hide it. It goes straight to the group of unknown men away from their table. They both wonder. Before, it did not socialize with anyone except Sky and Hunter.
"Sky, lately, Abigor been elusive to us," Hunter announced.
"I see," he sprangily said
"Wait, did you fight?" Hunter asked.
"I don't know, we were good last time. Hopefully this won’t take too long."
"I agree, maybe, he has a problem," he agreed.
Sky held his breath and carefully examined every movement of Abigor. His friend had changed a lot.
After lunch, they proceed to their next subject, they also finish quickly like their first subject because they only did discussions and lectures. Sky immediately told Hunter that he would be home early because he would pick up Winter on the other campus.
"I'll go first, I'll pick up Winter,"
"Okay, I also need to go home early, there's a lot to do at home."
However, he was surprised by Hunter's answer. Usually before they go home, Hunter invites him to go straight to the mall, play in an arcade, go for a walk, eat at a fancy restaurant — Hunter is the only child of a governor in their place so he has no problem with money.
As he walked down the corridor, he met Asthenia, who immediately approached him when he saw it alone.
"Sky," she greeted
They both stopped walking.
He looked at her "Why?"
"Sorry, earlier, I've been annoying," she said, slightly bowing her head.
"You don't have to say sorry, you did nothing," he seriously said.
"But, you look angry earlier,"
"Huh? No, I'm not," he explained.
"Really?" she bit her lower lip to suppress her happiness.
"Yeah," he answered,
Her short hair was slightly weld. No one was passing by in the corridor because some students still had classes. When you look at Sky's face, he always looks inscrutable. Winter is the only one person who changes his cold appearance.
"I need to go," he said.
"Ah, okay, see you tomorrow,"
He just nodded and continued walking. He sped up his walk because Winter might wait for him.
Meanwhile, Asthenia couldn't hide the joy while walking for seeing and talking Sky up close. He is really attractive and cool. If she can only scream with excitement and fun right now… She will do it.
When Sky finally arrived. He saw Winter waiting in front of the side of the school gate. She was busy typing on the phone trying to text Sky, but it didn't reply because he was already in front of her.
"Hey," he greeted.
She immediately looked at Sky and approached it.
"Hey," she smiled.
"Let's go?" he asked.
"Okay, but I'm hungry, let's eat first?" she grumbled.
"Sure let's go, you are always hungry," he teased.
"I'm starving, Sky," she answered.
It is often hungry. But she eats slowly so even though she is hungry all the time. She doesn't gain weight immediately.
"I can't find someone who is hungry as you are," he joked.
"I know, I will not deny that, but I'm still sexy, right?" she asked.
He looked at her from head to toe. Winter's face blushed because of her own question.
"Hmm," he acted like he was thinking.
Winter slapped him on the shoulder and crossed her arms.
"I don't want to hear your answer,"
"Of course, you are the sexiest woman I've ever known…" he seriously said.
"Good to know," she smiled.
They walked towards a nearby fast-food restaurant. They just ordered quickly because they were still going to Sky's apartment to play Reborn battle.
While they were eating, Sky inevitably asked Winter.
"Did you see the face of that player who saved you?" Sky asked.
"Um, I don't know, he didn't remove his black hoodie. Why?"
"Ah, nothing,"
"But I think it's man," she added.
"Oh, he seems familiar,"
"Really?" she smiled and continued eating.
After eating, Sky bought takeout food for his Mom. They also quickly arrived at the apartment because traffic was not trendy in their area. They reached Sky's mother, busy with her laptop in the living room.
"Afternoon, Mrs. Torsney," Winter greeted.
"Oh, dear, good... you visited again," Mrs. Torsney said.
"I'll put the food in the refrigerator first," Sky exclaimed.
Winter joined her mom on the sofa. She saw on the laptop screen what the article she was doing.
"Winter, thank you," Mrs. Torsney suddenly said while still typing on the laptop keyboard and focusing on the screen.
"Huh? I'm not doing anything?" She's confused.
Mrs. Torsney turned to her and smiled, "Since you came here, Sky is no longer Sky, he is happier now,"
"No really, I did nothing, even me I was surprised,"
Mrs. Torsney smiled brightly and turned her attention again to her laptop, and Sky arrived just in time.
"Mom, just heat the food I brought in the microwave later,"
"Okay, Son, thank you," Mrs. Torsney answered.
"Let's go," he said while looking at Winter.
Winter stood up on the sofa and smiled at him. They said goodbye to her Mom first, before entering his room.
Sky set up his gaming computer and then they both sat down. they placed the Thalamus gear properly on their heads before finally pressing the continue button.
The strange voltage flowed back into their brain and quickly bought them inside the game. Today is the day he will teach Winter basic techniques.
They immediately went to the loose land with soft grass planted in the ground. They quickly found it using the map in the hologram, because everything you need is in the hologram already.
There are also no players around there, so they can practice properly.
