When I wake up Im still in the cave with the arrow out of my heart. I see Bonnie and Kai and I stand up with a groan.
"El!" Bonnie runs to me and pulls me into a big hug. I hug back with a wince.
Kai comes to me with a blood bag and I growl at him flashing him my hybrid eyes making him raise his hands in surrender.
"It's a peace offering." He tells me, holding the blood bag out to me.
"You stabbed me in the heart. It hurt."I spit at him with a growl.
"And Im sorry, but you were in my way." He says and I snatch the blood bag from him ripping into it. I close my eyes and growl with satisfaction at the taste.
"From the look and sound of it im gonna guess and say you forgive me."He says walking back into the light as I toss the empty blood bag away.
"It's now or never." Kai says. As we stand in the light. He grabs onto Bonnie."Just in case you thought you'd try to go without me." He tells her.
"So long, 1994." I say and hold my hands under theirs as I walk into the light.
"What the hell's happening? Keep going. Hurry." He says.
"I can't." She tells him.
"Keep going!"
"I can't. I've lost my magic." She tells him.
"What are you talking about? You were just doing the bloody spell!" I tell her harshly just wanting to go home.
"Unh. There's nothing there." Kai says trying to siphon her."There's no magic."
" It's so strange. I wonder if I accidentally put it somewhere. Oh, I remember now. I put it somewhere safe." Bonnie says.
" Where did you put your magic?" He asks her.
"Do you remember saying you wanted to be more like me Brave, loyal, patient?" She asks him.
" You put it in the bear, didn't you?" I ask her angry just wanting to go home.
Kai bends over looking in the bag.
" Come on!" He yells throwing the bag with no bear.
"Where's the stupid bear, hmm?" He asks her.
" Oh, it's gone. I guess we're stuck here forever. Sorry." She says.
With a snarl, I speed over to Bonnie and rip into her neck. She groans and claws at my back. She soon passes out in my arms and I drop her. Kai throws her over his shoulder and we go back to the boarding house.
