To his surprise, Jonathan laughed and waved a hand. “It's dangerous only if it is left unchecked,” he said. “Vera is one of my students, and she will be educated just like the rest of you. I will personally see to it that she gets instruction on how to channel her ethereality, as well as rein in her untrained expressions of it, like clocks going haywire when she experiences anxiety. It's mainly an Astral gift, as you know, so she doesn't have the lion's share of access to the power. She is better off without the majority of those powers, anyway.
